Haha, I had no idea somebody tried to recreate apocrypha before Dragonborn DLC was released
That being said, kudos for the effort and ingenuity. You didn't do too bad with the lore at all in opinion, by adding a maze-like look to the daedric realm and the lost scholars ,you sticked pretty close to it actually. Obviously, Bethesda came in later on and kinda "took" over your mod lol, but still like I said kudos for the creativity. Like a few suggested you can easily expand on the mod by using the bethesda dragonborn assets so it could go to a whole new level. But it could also not agree with your original vision of the mod, which I can respect.
Anyway, hoping to maybe see other daedric realm mods from you in the future
Hermaeus Mora, and in turn his realm, are based heavily upon H.P. Lovecraft's works. They speak of forbidden knowledge, things beyond mortal understanding, and the frailties of mortal perception. How I see it is, his realm does not actually look like what it appears to be. That is merely your mind seeing what it wants to see. To gaze upon his realm in its full majesty, would simply shatter your mind. That and this looks a lot like how his realm looks in and the realms of daedra by thirteen oranges so it fits. Great work and an amazing mod. Thank you.
well, bethesda had all dlc's voice acting done, when skyrim was first released. So they definitely thought of doing this realm first, thought that doesn't excuse this mod as great work and a great idea, it was here before dragonborn dlc and is a cool mix for people who like immersion like myself, i feel like i am in a new area of apocrypha that miraak was never given the power to enter
Well gee, I'm sorry I didn't create something fancy enough for you, back before anybody had even heard of a Dragonborn DLC and when there was extremely little lore to go on. It's kinda sad that this mod's mere existence offends you so much you think it needs to be deleted from this site.
Don't listen to the kiddies, you've done a great job with what you had to work with, and should be proud of it
Any plans for expansion though? this could benefit from a few Dragonborn assets, though I think you should also keep it within the same style as you have already, as Xiaoping said, Apocrypha is a big realm, no reason why it can't have different styles in different regions of it

lmao
in the DLC the black books in apocrypha just look like badly textured bricks.
