It's a valid concept, not one I'd prefer since the need to maintain focus to call upon the ability appeals to my preference of a more difficult and challenging situation. But I will likely come up with an option for what you've suggested as soon as I have time to explore the creation kit some more
I like the idea of the mod, could you make something a bit different in the future? Such as recovering the cooldown of powers another way? What I mean is consuming soul gems for that, or meditating at a god shrine to remove the cooldown.
Animation doesn't work properly. I'm in the meditate pose but no magic effects shows up, and after 3 seconds or so I'm back to normal pose for 1 second before going back to that pose. After 10 seconds I am able to cast the racial power but as is it's impossible to tell when the meditation is done. I have to estimate that 10 seconds each time.
This works well except for abilities that are instant use/targeted like Battle Cry. This makes playing a nord very awkward, but helps with every other race...
This mod sounds like a very charming idea! I am looking forward to where this is going to, including the suggestions already proposed. I'll keep in touch.
