You put redguards at the bottom of the list....idk, seems pretty racist to me. LOL, outside of that seems like a good mod but I really want to get into modding myself because the modding community seems a bit white washed with certain mods following the same theme with followers all being carbon, light bright copies or redguards looking like nords in peoples screenshots LMAO. But alas, decent mod.
I managed to get this mod working in Skyrim Special edition. I can't say if all the numbers tweaks went through or not - I've only tested the khajit power so far. And yup, the khajit 'predator' ability is working fine!
To make this mod work in SSE, it seems like all you need to do to unpack the .BSA file that comes with the mod. This is the unpacker I used: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/4804/?
Then, create a new folder for your mod, copy in the unpacked files and the .esp, and you're good to go. (You can then re-zip your folder to allow NMM or MO to organize this mod for you)
Your new folder's layout should look similar to this:
There was no need to do that. This has been available for SSE for months now. I never bothered to upload it the Nexus, but it's been on Bethesda.net since the Special Edition came out, basically.
I'm using this mod since it was released years ago, imperious looks awesome but unlike thatsracist here it changes the entire race not only a power this means it's incompatible with well almost everything :/
Nice mod. I like it! Say i am playing with the SPERG mod and with that mod comes a perk in the alteration tree. This perk makes a copy of your racial power and then makes it twice as strong.. playing a high elf i tried it out to see if the added power bonus got doubled too but that didn't work. Seems it only takes the original racial power not the modded one... You think some kind of compatibility would do?? Prob too much OP..but still...precious ...me wants it
That mod would be creating an entirely new greater power, whose effects are twice the amount of the basic greater power. I can't really account for that. You'll have to manually edit SPERG to change the effects of that perk.
THATSRACIST works fine with sperg because sperg does not copy anything it doesn't even touch the vanilla powers there's not one value from thatsracist that clashes with sperg
sperg as usual compared to other perk overhaul did it right instead of messing everything up it just adds a new passive bonus to what you already have
ancestral awakening just give you a +50 fortify magicka while you keep the thatsracist power, you also get a lower power that is not related or linked to the thatsracist one it's just a clone of the vanilla one
sperg altmer awakening bonus is kinda weak tough +50magicka while as breton I got another +25% resist magic and other races get basically 100% resistance to diseas or poison
Loved using this mod when I was playing "Oldrim" a while back. Came back to muck about with the Special Edition and would love to see this ported. If I had the time I'd figure it out myself, but unfortunately I have less and less time to play these days. Thanks for all your work on this!
This mod has been my favourite racial overhaul for a long time now. You should consider bringing it to SSE! In the mean I'll be porting it for my own use but it'd be nice using an official version.
