I have just endorsed this! Like i said before, its just such a great concept! I have been toying around with your mod in the CS for a few hours now. You have given me some great inspiration.
As a tip! Try adding them to a new faction with a positive disposition to the player faction, and make the player an ally. Worked for me.
decent start, you may wish to make a faction, add allies and enemies, then the companions will be more willing to attack things ad not always rely on you to start the fight.
What a great idea! I downloaded it and they really follow nicely, its just a shame they don't really fight for you. Just the captain. Still great concept!
