I'm enjoying the mod but the console command you put in the description doesn't work. Not even using the mod order number. What's going on? I want to place a chest in Severin manor.
If you change your load order, the save sometimes keeps the id's of the first order. you could search for the correct id by using the help command: help syncronized sould give you the ids you need.
Thanks. I put one in there but it partially embedded in the wall. Don't really notice it much unless you look at it from a certain angle but it's ridiculous trying to position it. I got the position of the chest in console and changed it by one decimal point and it went flying off screen. I hate console
Nice mod. Very useful. The only problem I'm having is that when using the spell my items keep getting sent to a random dungeon chest but I can't find which one. No quest marker appears when the quest to get the items back is selected in the journal. Using clairvoyance I was able to track it to an area just SE of Dawnstar, but then the spell gets confused and just leads me back and forth on the path to Nightcaller Temple. (It's not in the temple, I checked.)
I suspect it might be in one of the underground Dwemer areas up there, but I can't be sure. Is there any way to tell what chest has been selected to be the target chest for the quest? Thanks!
@ Aluxer Yes, but you have to install the mod on both Pcs before transfering the save, because if you load as save which contain a plugin, on a Pc which haven´t this specific plugin, everything inside the save reffering to this plugin will be deleted, so first make sure that both Pc have the same plugins installed.
I play Skyrim on two different computers, while playing on the laptop I deposit a lot of stuff on the chest, but while playing on the desktop pc I forgot to install the chest mod. After installing the chest mod I got a new chest, but none of my items was transferred from the laptop chest to the desktop chest. So is it possible to synchronized the two chest to one, while playing on both computers?
This is a very nice mod. One of those seemingly unimportant mods that you realize you can't live without once you've installed it. Kudos for the idea and work.
I wasn´t able to detect any serious bug in this mod, there isn´t even a clipping issue left, so I would say its realy final, are there any nice housemods needing a synchronized chest?
