I made a tweak like this for myself quite a while ago.I play at a timescale of 6, and I set "fWeatherTransAccel" to 1 (default value is 16). Takes a few minutes to go from clear weather to a full snow storm. I used TES5Edit to do this, so I never ran into any hardcoded caps.

Where can I find this setting? Also, to the author: what does your mod change this value to/what other values does it change?

You have to go into TES5edit, add GMST, create identifier, name fWeatherTransAccel and mod it to your hearts content.

Where do you add this setting and what plugins should be loaded when you start TES5Edit and does this work if you put it in the Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini files?

Does this even work it doesn't seem to do anything for me. Rain storms will still end abruptly.

Just to add to a question that was asked earlier in the comments. I have been playing a timescale of 5 for sometime, and have never noticed an increase in the weather transition based on timescale. This may not be the actual truth of how the game works as I personally do not know, but it still seems very quick to me and the only difference I ever noticed is the length of days and nights.

That being said, this seems like an interesting mod and I look forward to using it.

Well, I was going to make a video, but I can't seem to get good footage. Whenever I up the timescale, everything goes to fast to see a notable difference, and I can't seem to have good enough look to run into a short storm or fog cloud. So sorry about that; no video for now.

@Laast: I'll likely make a video for it sometime today and post a link to it on here.

@mkelton19: Should work the same way. If it affects weather, it should be fine as long as you put this after it in the load order.

Good mod, thankyou, it's nice to have longer periods of weather, it changed so often I thought I was in England.

Sounds interesting. A real time video to show your weather transition would be nice.
