I made a tweak like this for myself quite a while ago.I play at a timescale of 6, and I set "fWeatherTransAccel" to 1 (default value is 16). Takes a few minutes to go from clear weather to a full snow storm. I used TES5Edit to do this, so I never ran into any hardcoded caps.
hey can you upload that i have been looking for something like it, because i use a dynamic time scale mod and weather transitions ocur in seconds, but i dont know how to make one for my self :$
Where do you add this setting and what plugins should be loaded when you start TES5Edit and does this work if you put it in the Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini files?
Just to add to a question that was asked earlier in the comments. I have been playing a timescale of 5 for sometime, and have never noticed an increase in the weather transition based on timescale. This may not be the actual truth of how the game works as I personally do not know, but it still seems very quick to me and the only difference I ever noticed is the length of days and nights.
That being said, this seems like an interesting mod and I look forward to using it.
Well, I was going to make a video, but I can't seem to get good footage. Whenever I up the timescale, everything goes to fast to see a notable difference, and I can't seem to have good enough look to run into a short storm or fog cloud. So sorry about that; no video for now.
