This CTD issue is a blight in Dragonborn. A rare few here and there in Skyrim, sure, heavily outweighted by the utility. But man, Raven Rock and outliers are CTD-central.
Anyone has such an issue? Any crude workarounds? Thanks in advance, much appreciated.
It would be incompatible, as this mod adds more looting containers, randomises the containers content and also adding more junk. As a result, you are more at the whim of RNG, but overall you should find less useful loot, but at rare times, better loot then what vanilla provides.
Testing the lists and possible outcomes, I ensured that the average loot value matches vanilla apart from some themed containers that make more sense to have higher value loot.
1. The large file-size, especially on console. This cant really be fixed, so take it as you will.
2. occasionally the models for barrels will be misplaced (sometimes in completely different rooms) but the hitboxes are still in the original positions. If you touch one of these invisible barrels, it starts to cause MAJOR lag. If you ignore the barrels everything's fine, though
1. Large file size is due to the new items you can find
2. This shouldn't happen at all and no one has reported this issue in the years the mod has been available. Sounds like you have something else causing the issue.
If you have location editing mods, they are a likely the cause. However be aware, some mods can edit locations without saying they actually do. For instance; populated dungeons/cities/etc.
Ported to SSE; http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/8994/? PC:https://bethesda.net/en/mods/skyrim/mod-detail/4011163 Xbox One: https://bethesda.net/en/mods/skyrim/mod-detail/4011166 Enjoy.
I love this mod and really appreciate what it does. However, the additional containers and scripts are a little hard on my barely passable system, aka an abacus. Is there any chance of a "lite" version that, perhaps, just changes barrels without adding all the lootable crates? I would welcome this change with open arms.
Jannifer, Have you tried 'Barrels and Crates' by Fligerty, I'm not hijacking this mod just pointing toward one I've used for... well, ever! it's lightweight and my old system used to groan with vanilla Skyrim and I had a 'slideshow' with more than a couple of mods on so I appreciate your problem, I did find though Barrels and Crates had no frame hit as to PLA... I have no idea as I'm fortunate enough not to have that issue now!
I have however just downloaded this and after a quick try found it to be excellent and will use this for... well, a good while at least, if there's one thing I love more than anything it's 'New stuff and finding it'
PS @ Jannifer... I just realised it's been a few months since your post, sorry I didn't look, hope you're fixed anyway
