Hi, is it kid / spouse friendly, just so you know, if you want your kids to play with riverwood kids and your spouse to sell things to towns people ( immersion wise ) would great if so ?
Fantatic housemod, with very innovative interiors. Perfect for a Ranger or Druid character! Combine this Skyrim Flora Overhaul and Lush Trees mods, and the colorful foliage in this place becomes fantastic!
Endorsed!
Forest Hub works very well with... * Hunter's Cabin of Riverwood V2: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/18878 * Leondirs House - Riverwood Lakehouse: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/15591 * Hot Springs Home: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/23089 and almost all Riverwood overhaul mods (Towns & Cities Expanded, Forested Riverwood, Detailed Cities, Riverwood Reborn, Better Riverwood, Ultimate Skyrim Riverwood, etc.).
Please, please add some butterflies and torchbugs inside the house; and perhaps an small aquarium?
Woot, you are updating the mod again! I will try v1.3 today. :-)
Suggestions: 1. Your blacksmith-merchant is good, don't mess him up. Maybe add another NPC and maybe a pet rabbit/fox, some butterflies, firebugs? 2. Don't make the place too big (maybe add a room or two, but make sure it is all in one indoor cell, rather than separate cell-spaces). 3. Regarding waterfall, etc., don't make it big and fancy, maybe add a small pond and tiny waterfall will be nice. You don't really want to create a forest inside the mountain. There are already some nice "indoor forest" mods ("Twilight Forest": http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/11007/?) and ("Everspring Grotto", so don't spend too much time on doing something similar. Your mod is already nice. 3. Location is perfect, don't change it please. 4. Can you add a friendly Spriggan child somewhere? It might look cute, and would feel just right for a Druid or Alchemist roleplay.
IMPORTANT: You should rename your mod to something like "Riverwood Forest Hub", so that people search for mods for Riverwood can land upon your mod page, as your Forest Hub is located very close to Riverwood, and doesn't conflict with most other Riverwood mods.
ok will gladly do it, it will take longer, beacuse im speedrunning HL2EP2 (http://www.twitch.tv/typer_hsdt) so yea, and mapping for CS:GO aswell. but i will try to update it as soon as possible
Just tried the v1.3 Forest Hub, and I've a few thoughts.
1. The waterfall is really nice, and it is a sweet and simple addon that enhances the vibe of the place. 2. Haven't really noticed the critters and apart from the waterfall, it looks exactly as v1.2. Which is good, IMHO. 3. However, I am getting a very weird issue. The shadows are flickering and shaking like crazy everytime my player-character moves. And it happens everywhere in Skyrim. At first I thought it may be some ENB or graphics-options issue. But problem went away when I reverted back to Forest Hub v1.2. Does anyone else have this problem? I am hoping it is just a problem at my end.
Hmmm did not experience that, maybe some mods are conflicting with my mod it shouldnt, i'll check on it and try to fix it. there are some flying bugs, just takes a while for them to spawn.
This looks awesome, I've been looking for a woodsy house with plants growing on the inside, something for a wood elf alchemist. But personally it looks kinda small for my taste so I won't be using it, just wanted to say I'm glad at least someone did something like this.
Simply the best player house! One thing that looks out of place is the square with chests. A better storage solution had been nice. Still the best player house tough
Oh my, this is so detailed! I love the plants inside, I've always had a soft spot for this kind of interior, it's gorgeous! It also suits any kind of character, may it be the good huntress, the alchemist / magician or the werewolf, at least in my opinion. The decoration is simply awsome! Thanks so much for this, finally I found a home to my characters!
