Small warning to everyone: If you have complete crafting overhaul installed, you won't have to install this mod. CCO already has an option to decrease the amount of storage bandolier pouches give.

Still, this mod is a great alternative if you don't want to get the CCO mod.

Uhm, CCO for SSE has this feature? I looked everywhere in the description but couldn't find mention of this. Don't want to use CCO if I don't have to since it makes unnecessary alterations. Also do you know if Bandolier/this patch/CBBE patch work on SSE? Currently Using Bandolier SE version with "tighter female fit" patch and it's not ideal.

EDIT: I have found the SE Version of this patch for the SE version of Bandolier

It does have the feature, but you *have* to edit it yourself. Not sure where it is, I play on LE if that makes a difference.

Hello, I know it's been a long time but...
I started a game using Bandolier without CCO and installed the later recently. I noticed my bandolier provide WAY less bonus to carry weight.
I have the compatibility patch enabled...
But I don't see any option leading to an improvement in the power level of Bandoliers. I don't seem to be able to improve them in any way in game (I tried to give myself more skill level in both enchanting and smithing and allocate a few perks... but nothing changes).
I also don't see an option in MCM to change that.

Any idea where I can change this  setting ?

I haven't used the mod in months but I think the only real way to increase the capacity (or decrease) is by using xedit, that's what I used. I don't think there's a fix for this besides manually doing it on your own.

Been using this mod for a long time, but I just noticed it completely removes 4 of the Dark Brotherhood belt pouches. With this mod installed, you can only get the front left and front right ones. For whatever reason, it totally patches the other 4 out of the parent mod (can't even get them with console or AdditemMenu.

Please tell me this is being ported to SE soon. The bandolier mod is great but the effects are just broken by default this mod seems like the perfect fix!

Can't believe I haven't seen this before. This was exactly what I was looking for! You just saved me at least an hours work doing it for myself manually in tesedit mate, thank you for this!

How easy would it be to port this for the Bandolier mod in SSE?

How easy would it be to port this for the Bandolier mod in SSE? The same weights are still in effect years later and would be great to get the more realistic reduced weight capacity - such as Variant 3?

    Thanks

I love to have this with the Bandolier mod because it is as it should have been from the very start. However, would it be possible for you to consider making a variant of this mod where there are no fortify carry weight at all and the bags and pouches would then be strictly for cosmetic purposes only?
Would love to test that variant out

    Thanks in advance

The original mod page actually has an optional .esp file where the bags have no enchantments by default.

Is there a mod or can you still add a feature to make the bags and pouches slow your character down significantly? A response would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not actively working on any updates for this mod at the moment, but that's a great idea!

DiFerr, this isn't exactly what you're asking for, but have you tried Cobb Encumbrance? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/63330/? The mod will slow you down gradually (MCM configurable) as the burdens you carry increase instead of allowing you to run full speed until you hit a magic number and can't run anymore.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Complete Crafting Overhaul seems to detect Bandolier and alter the values back to default. Is there a way to make the two compatible while using your decreases?

EDIT: Scratch that. Realized that CCO has an internal option to edit the enchantment strength for carrying capacity on the bandoliers. Will just use that instead. Thank you for the mod though!

This mod does what it advertises! Just be warned, once you go Bandolier, you can't go back, and you're going to miss that carry capacity, no matter how unrealistic it might be!

Is this mod compatible with Bandolier 1.2?

I think it should be, and others appear to be using it with 1.2 without any reported issues - but I haven't tested myself.

If you find any issues please let me know and I'll update!

issues won't be visible ingame, but 1.2 added new pouches. those will simply be missing from the game when using this mod.

Thanks for the confirmation - when I get the chance I'll have a look at updating to add the new pouches as in 1.2 of the main mod.

If the new pouches/bags are just missing from 1.2 that is probably ok. It's been pretty hard to get all the right mods in place to manage encumbrance and space issues. I've been using these and I'm planning to add your mod to reduce Bandoliers:

ACE BYOG (Bring Your Own Game) -- I use this to set initial encumbrance for my Khajiit to 50
More Realistic Carrying (Whenever you equip an armor, a piece of clothing or a circlet, its weight gets reduced by 80%. Jewelry's weight is completely removed when worn.)
      Bandolier - Bags and Pouches
Weighted Items (Adds weight to various weightless items in Skyrim. (e.g. arrows, lockpicks, gold, etc))
EK_LimitedItems (limits the amount of items you can carry based on how much room they take up; items are given "sizes" based on their type)

OK, I just realized that Bandoliers has an optional ESP that reduces the added carry weight from 25,50,75, and 100 down to 10,25,35, and 50. So if that suffices you may not need this mod. In addition, if you look at the ESP in TES5Edit it's easy to locate the values (e.g. 25,50,75,100) and change them to whatever you want. Not totally sure about that since I don't have confirmation -- see my posts in the Bandoliers area.
