CatEira, I tried making the sword into a one handed sword, but had some difficulty. Although I was about to make it have the one handed skill tree even though it is a two handed weapon.

I really like the texture of this sword so it would be nice if there were a one-handed version to go with the two-handed one ^_^
"Though every other Daedric artifact weapon is able to be improved through smithing, the Ebony Blade is missing the required data to be tempered at a grindstone. It is also missing a classification for weapon material, preventing it from benefiting from smithing perks. This is perhaps explained by Admonition Against Ebony which states that " ...Not even the hottest fires of the Skyforge could melt it ..." indicating that the Ebony Blade is immune to the effects of heat from any source."
Hi. I wonder if You could give me the id code for the weapon. I wanna try it out first but when I type the code for the ebony blade it gives me the...ebony blade. Thanx in advance...Scratch that...i figured it out...used the tesnip from fomm
tinduy, I have made the version of the edged blade that should only affect the one handed skill. It is located in the optional files section. Let me know if theirs any problems.
Dear Issac X, Thank you for this great mod! However, I was hoping you could do me a favor. I prefer sneaking but without the backstab perk, the Ebony blade is almost useless.
Since I prefer the two handed version, I was hoping you could make another version where the blade still is two-handed, but uses all the one-handed perks.

Highstar, from what I've read the ebony mail is already upgradeable and it already comes with an enchantment. It wouldn't make much since to remove the enchantment because the armor looks just like the regular ebony armor.
Awesome, was looking for a way to have a custom ebony blade enchantment. Do you think you could make a forge-able/enchantable version of the ebony mail too?
