I don't know if it is another mod interfering with this mod but I crash near Riften, the spot near the front gate where the bunny runs by, just up the hill where a dear runs down the mountain. ;-; it was a great mod while it lasted. I have narrowed it down to this mod and none of my other mods cause it to crash, if anybody comes up with a fix please tell me. [Edit] It isn't this mod, I don't know what is causing it... it stopped for a while after I uninstalled this though.
I fought a Draugr boss, and ate a five course meal whilst doing it. I don't know what he was thinking when I pulled out the apple pie in the middle of the fight, then began eating raw potatoes afterwards. . I reckon the foods still underpowered, 1 point for a potato as well as the few points for other foods. Along with the extra weight, as opposed to potions that weigh little and heal a lot. . This is just my opinion, but I reckon food shouldn't be any less than 20 on healing power. With bigger foods being higher on healing power than smaller foods, such as a mammoths trunk compared to a few berries. . I have an idea to prevent player from hoarding raw and cooked food, and I don't know if the other mods do this. But how about shelf life. Give food a shelf life, say 3 days for meat, 5 days for fruit and veg. This would include travelling time. Imagine stocking up on food, then travelling to the other side of Skyrim, only to find most of your food has spoiled before a battle. This would prevent food hoarding, and give a reason for hunting.
An alternative food manager mod with built in spoilage system to RND is IMCN. This mod gives you a bonus skill craft recipe from Marise the Butcher in Riften once you complete her quest. In the vanilla game, she indicates her meats are fresh and free of rock joint. The IMCN mod author expanded the lore of this conversation by adding a craftable ice crystal (that you craft at the forge from ice wraith teeth and another ingredient). If you put this crystal in your char's inventory (or any container) it will stop food from spoiling permanently.
The mod will cause food to spoil in your inventory and home(s) storage containers. So you can craft an indefinite amount of crystals to place in your containers around your vanilla and custom home(s)
Truly one of the best - and few - food mods out there that actually puts more food in the game! I just love the cover of the new cook book, the new foods are lore-friendly, and just the option to have all of this new food is great! I wish the mod author would come back to this soon, they haven't updated it since 2012, and it's 2014 now.
If you guys want anymore mods just like this, it wouldn't hurt to check out Osare's Food mod. It adds in a lot of HD foods kind of like this mod.
