I'm not sure. The CK sometimes messes things up. You can try playing the game with or without the facegen textures and see which works. If some NPCs refuse to appear correctly in-game, then use the following console command on them:
setnpcweight 50
I just rechecked the mod and the female housecarls are set to essential. Perhaps another mod is conflicting with it?
Love the mod for for some reason the followers aren't essential. I use CBBE also and it made the faces dark with the apachi hairstyles. Used the fix noted in the apachi hairstyles section but now the saved game Lydia is now non-essential and no longer has the same form ID. Any ideas on what I did wrong?
No you don't HAVE to change things, but the Apachii hairstyles are very nice looking, as evident by the fact it's one of the most popular mods out there.
Another thing to consider: The vanilla hairstyles are low resolution, Apachii hairstyles are hi-res. Of course it would be nice to see some of the vanilla hairstyles in hi-res.
I also hate Apachii plastic doll hair and think the vanilla hairs are much much better and real, so I`m also not using any mod that uses it. I keep hearing there`s no better hair mod so everyone HAS TO use Apachii but your dont HAVE TO change something just for the sake of changing it people.
Thanks for the comments. I may remove the word Ultimate from the title if it proves problematic, we'll see. I will continue adding to this over time after I finish my next dungeon mod.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work with UFO. I've contacted fLokii for help making this mod compatible. I'm waiting to hear back from him. At the very least, I wanna add the ability to have multiple followers. For now, making the followers tougher in combat should help you when you have just one follower.
As for the last comment, you're entitled to your opinion. I haven't done anything particularly artistic to the NPCs. I gave some of them Apachii hairstyles and adjusted their heights so that, when viewing them in first-person, everyone isn't the same exact height as the player. I think that adds a little realism.
