It's not you; it's me being an idiot!!!When I switched from V.1.00 to V1.01 I moved the Light Commando Armour 'down' from Scaled (Advanced ArmorPerk) to Elven (Elven Perk) and put the Viper Assassin in at the Scaled level.
I made sure to change the 'recipes' but didn't change the Perk from Scaled to Elven - my bad, I'm an idiot!!!
The 'Steel' hood was, again, me not paying close enough attention and forgetting to put the Glass Perk on the Bluestripes Elite Hood.
I have corrected all these screw*ps and there is now a V.1.02 being uploaded - give me 15 minutes to 'zip/RAR' the file and post it.
Your Elven should now work fine, your 'Steel' hood should now vanish to return again as 'Scaled Arnour' at the Advanced Armor Perk, but still in the Steel Crafting Category.
I have this installed but at the forge only thing that is there is a hood in the steel section. I know i installed it right because i also did the witcher experience this way too and that one works fine. I have steel and elven perks but not the specialized armor perk if these are under that?
Not a quest-cycle - at the moment. This mod is just one of the 5 completed (of 16 'approved') plug-ins for the Core Module which houses the individual forges for each of the respective weapon/armour mods listed on the core module page.
Basically, a more 'physical' system of the 'Lore Craft' book system for keeping the crafting menu less cluttered.
