    @boogs39

    That's because I, and I'm assuming you as well, have the Ultimate Follower Overhaul mod installed.

    Hey this is unrelated to your mod, but I noticed in your pictures you have the dialog option of "You know....". I have this too in my game, and I cant seem to figure out why. I have a ton of mods so I'm assuming its one of them. Any help on that would be great!

    Other than that, thanks for the mod!

    @Virrey

    Just a bit of real life information for you, just because someone is in a relationship with someone, that doesn't mean they love them. Sometimes it takes weeks or even months for love to form, sometimes it's at first sight.

    Basically what I'm saying is, just because she's in a relationship with Falk, doesn't mean she loves him.

    LOL, I know right? I mean I killed Nazzeem (yes I do get to the Cloud District often you pompous ass), no one saw me do it, and his wife still sent thugs after me. I'm not really complaining, it's not too big a deal for me. Still odd at times.

    They are rivals, competing in business and for the Jarl's attention. Essentially, enemies just shy of physical confrontation. The letter of thanks makes sense.

    I've always been curious what the Bethesda people were thinking about those letters. I mean, are we supposed to believe we got away with murder and nobody knows, except the victim's rival, who didn't hire us, but just happens to somehow know? It's like being a rival NPC comes with a secret perk of "Master Detective."

    In any case, there's nothing wrong with imagining one or the other is a jilted spouse. At least it would give the rivals issue some back story.

    @Virrey,

    If you tell her to live in one of your houses after getting married, the spouse alias will overrule her secret meeting AI. Falk will still show up at her house, but she should stay where you told her to live. That doesn't delete the relationship setting between her and Falk, but it shouldn't make a difference in AI.

    I have to agree that Bryling and Erikur isn't married, even though I thought so before because of the wiki.

    I double checked the CK and it does say that Bryling and Falk are courting each other. However, it is marked as secret. Much like the Romeo and Juliette drama reference of Jon Battleborn and Olfina Graymane whose relationship is marked as secret. There is also a package in the CK which is named something like "secret meeting" and both Bryling and Falk has it. Why would Bryling need to hide her interest in Falk Firebeard?

    Another thing is the rival status she has with Erikur. It doesn't say anything else about their relationship. Two thanes competing for the favor of the Jarl? Most likely.

    Still it isn't too appropriate to marry someone whose already in a second relationship, even if it's secret. It works, I guess, but still she's already in love with someone else.

    I didn't really want to argue with itsapeter, but I could clearly see that the only relationship status between Bryling and Erikur was that they are rivals, not married. However for some reason, on the Elder Scrolls Wiki it says Bryling and Erikur ARE married. I can't find any source confirming this.

    Erikur can send you a letter if you kill Bryling, thanking you and saying she won't be missed. This doesn't exactly disprove that they were married or not, husbands have had their wives killed many times before.

    @Pugiron,

    You can download my mod, Bathing Beauties, and it will let you tell your spouse to wear about a dozen pre-designated outfits (tavern, wedding dress, barkeep, hide, forsworn...), or whatever is the best gear in his/her bags. You don't have to use the bath house if you don't want. It also adds the same feature to all the housecarls.

    @itspeter,

    I don't know where you got the idea Bryling was married to Erikur. She isn't. They are both Thanes of Solitude, but their relationship status is set to Rival.

    Bryling is "dating" Falk Firebeard (the steward). Their relationship Status is set to Boyfriend/Girlfriend. He sometimes sneaks into her house and joins her in bed in the middle of the night. This won't stop her from being married to the player, but if you choose to live in her house, don't be surprised if Falk shows up in the middle of the night. It's in his vanilla AI package.
