ok so i tried to use this to port the shadow cuirass from the apachii goddess store mod for oblivion to skyrim, and it halfway worked. it is recognized as an armor that is wearable in game, but it doesnt show up when worn. help?
Thanks for the tutorial. But i have a problem: the model is ingame but i can only see it when i put it out of my inventory. I searched in some other mods and found that i have to refer a firstPerson - model to the weapon. I did this and i can see it in my inventory now, but when i equip it, i can only see it in the left hand. In the right hand it is in the right scabbart. I can't find the failur, please help.
Edit: Ok i got it. There was something wrong in the nif file.
ok got my item in game and all but just havent gotten the MODL correct .. so the item still looks like what i used as a model .. i guess now i just need to figure out how to find the directory of my .nif file so i can change the look of the armor i used .. where or how do i find the directory of my .nif file? ..
also whats the difference between ARMO and ARMA .. do we need both?
