I really like the look of these. Are these simply retextures then? Has anyone tried using these recently? I have all of AMD retextures and love it.
The iron weapons have always looked severely disappointing and I cannot find any newer retexture mod for either iron or standard Nord clothing which looks atrocious in game.
Would anyone else have experience using this mod or could suggest one more recent?
I'm tracking this for my next playthrough if not. Great look!
For common Nord clothing, use Rustic Clothing by Gamwich. I also highly recommend using the 4k-2k version, as the 2k version tends to look like 1k up close.
Ahhh in fact I recently found Rustic Clothing! Thank you for the recommendation Ssweetsimplicity. I really LOVE the way this mod cleans up the weapons and armors. I finally downloaded a few other mods from Gamwich, including clutter, bottles and clothing.
So far I've been floating between 2K and 4K on most texture packs I'm using. This was my very first play through of Skyrim and when I start my next play through (I never used USLEEP OR the Unofficial Patches so I missed out on the fixes :-() I tried using only texture files that would be ok to run. I use one and it slows my stuff down so until I learn more I guess I'll simply need to learn how to properly adjust to run less encumbered and learn to use TES5Edit for the (other) files I'm having difficulties with.
Have you found any other great texture packs you can recommend? Thank you to the author of this as well. This is a gem!
I'm a bit late to the game, but my goodness. This. This is lovely. I recently lost all my skyrim data in a big... thing. But, I'm starting over, new character, only the essential mods. And I would Love to keep using iron weapons, if only they looked a Little better. This is more than a little; this is probably what'll keep me using iron weapons thru the whole game! Thank you!
@Nephalem8: That was a set of rusty iron armor I was working on but never decided to finish. Have you used CaBaL's iron armor? It is downright awesome. I made a standalone of it too that you can find on my mod page. Hvergelmir's is awesome too if you don't like either of those.
hey i was just wondering... the iron armor textures that u have in the images... that doesnt come with the mod right... cuz i want them and i dont hav them XD

i really wanted the dagger on back as well, but it seems that mod is no longer available on nexus.
