Well, this utility just put me in a small world of hassle with the ini files now.
I was pretty eager to check this one out and didn't even back up my ini files before running, but really, i would never expect the program to edit my settings the moment i run it.
So now i'll have to manually add all the custom settings again, thankfully starting from a halfway done older backup, so, if you have spent your time customizing your ini file, this little piece here seems to reset it to what the skyrim launcher does, then apply it's own things on top, and set you up for a settings hunt all over again.
It's simply not very useful in it's current buggy, and apparently abandoned state.
Not compatable with current skyrim if you play with mouse and keyboard you will lose mouse fuction. DO not use this alpha version wait for for final relase.
The problem is that there is a setting in the program that changes mouse speed with default value 0, and it doesn't remember what you entered before, so every time you use it, you have to enter all settings that you want again. Edit: I take it back, even with doing that, a lot of settings don't work as they should, mouse speed will work then though.
Beware, this utility made my mouse not function during play. Meaning I could use the mouse during the load/save and journal but not when in 1st or 3rd person view or when viewing the map.
I was looking for something like this for a long time. Testing it right now and here's first strange thing i notice: http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/9457/fdsfc.jpg I can't resize it and the lower part of the window seems cropped, but it isn't a problem to me, just reporting it. Other than that i would love to see a detailed explanation about options when i hover over them.
