Love this mod alot, however one thing that bugs me abit is that I have to recast it for every combat oppertunity, the cooldown is fine as is but having to recast the spell is tedious as you have to recast continuency and then the spell you want to store every time.
Is there a easy way removing that so the spell get stored until you store another one?
Thanks alot for this great mod and sorry for being "abit late" hehe.
good luck with the dungeons and dragons spells thats a mod i would love to see wish i could help with it but my modding experience is limited any idea how many your going to do? or if ull try to do wild magic? btw another modder was thinking about doing a dungeons and dragons mod athyra he is presently working on a mod thatll take awhile to do but you might be able to get some help from him with the D& spells if he turns you down just tell him its my fault you asked
What does removing the cooldowns amount to in the next project then? Does preparation just keep casting over and over?
Also another clarification that I might have been too dumb to realize. Say I use preparation and the spell goes off in combat. Do I need to prime preparation again to use the same spell or will it remember and come back after the 5 minute cooldown?
Also: Endorsed and voted for file of the month. This is an excellent idea, especially pre-cognition bravo on that piece of work!
@ Fredamora: Yea I didn’t think to hard about the name of this mod and I think that didn’t help its popularity one bit. I was mainly trying to describe roughly what it did in a few words. (plus releasing it on a Saturday evening meant it fell off the first 10 pages faster then I could blink.
@ RyanShowSeason2: Mainly because I wanted to keep this mod as compatible as possible with other spell mods and not to have it obscenely overpowered. If you could “Store” 4 spells that were all cast for free when ever your condition trigger was that could be an enormous advantage (as long as your smart about your planning) Your right on the description though I added stuff about it to the read me but completely left out the main page. It would be pretty easy to add a quick message to the player to say the stored spell has been released so I will probably add it to the new project, thanks. It would be very difficult to ‘script’ exactly when each combat started and finished over every possible situation plus I was again trying to balance the powers slightly by making you wait, just like in Baldur’s Gate you could always “Rest” after each battle and get all your powers and spells back but it was the challenge of making do with what you have that made it so much fun and tactical. I have removed the cool down from the first two powers in my new project but I am reluctant to get rid of it for the three higher powers.
The new project I’m working on is certainly taking a lot of time trying to convert so many AD& spells to Skyrim and I am having particular trouble with the area-field spells like teleport field and chaos sphere but I am getting there. Custom visuals and textures are on my list of to-do but they are something I am not very proficient at so might need help from others more capable.
Maybe I'm dumb, but I never picked up on the thread of thought that you could only use one contingency at a time from the description. Might want to make that more obvious, in game too.
Also perhaps the spells could throw up a message into the queue when their effects go off, because some spells I won't even notice that they went off. They just aren't that visible.
Also on the subject of the cooldowns... Could they just refresh for each instance of combat instead of timers? As it stands the only barrier between each combat is hitting t and waiting...
Awesome! I'm surprised it's not getting the attention it deserves. I think it has something to do with your mod naming...I wouldn't have even found it had I not advanced searched "baldur" (for baldur's gate). Please continue the D& spells conversion to Skyrim...and please keep them as they were, no need to add new stuff. :-) Thanks!

Very useful mod.
