So... much... love.... Could I impose on you to add in an unenchanted version sometime? I'd love to be able to craft it too, but I'd be happy just to enchant it myself...
The world model of the shiv has an extended skeleton? I mean when you drop it, it basically floats around at the back of the hilt. The design is very good, as is the textures applied to the model.
I suggest as Default96 to largen up the shiv to a size of a dagger. Why? because it does 1 base damage more then a dragonbone dagger, while it is smaller in size.
Would it be possible to make a bigger version of this? I really love how the dagger looks, but in my eyes it just looks to small that it could actually hurt someone; more like it is used as a butter knife. Endorsed either way, great job.
Is it possible to adjust the holster position a bit higher? Right now, for example if I use the thieves guild armor or other armors that have a belt, the ring holster is always below it by a margin of say 2 inches or so.
Unlike the Iron Dagger, there's no strap to latch onto the range, so it feels really weird :| I can kinda make due to nightingale armor, but I wanna wear other stuff too. It actually doesn't even line up with the nightingale armor perfectly, but since it's so black and dark you can't tell unless you zoom in.
If it's possible please adjust this! This is by far my favorite custom weapon as every dagger in skyrim is basically a short sword T_T
I really wish there was an animation mod that made it look like you weren't in "attack mode" or in a "ready stance" while holding this... just a normal walk then you click your mouse and you've stabbed someone in the gut... you know, like in a realistic prison. lol
