great work, mate. Much of it actually looks proper for time period persian/arab regions heraldry, so bonus points, imo. Cant wait to use this in my mod!
I agree with the comments about the first shield design not looking organic, so I've gone back and made new designs. I also spent some time learning how to make the candle and scarab designs. I think they're a bit better than the first one. I still can't figure out how to make stand-alone versions though.
I wanted a shield that would match Nazir's red hat. The Solitude shield was the same color, but the wolf didn't seem to fit. I know of three Redguard Knightly Orders: the Order of the Candle, Knights of the Moon, and Knights of the Scarab. I thought a candle would look dumb on a shield, a scarab would look cool, but was beyond my skill level, so I went with a moon. Since just a moon looked dumb, I added a star.

As a TES fan all I see is : Moon-and-Star is an ancient artifact given to the Nerevarine in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind in Cavern of the Incarnate, during the Path of the Incarnate Quest.
