The diffuse textures are an improvement on vanilla, but unfortunately the author didn't create any normal maps, and while ate large scale features are the same as Bethesda's, the grain of the leather is different. I can create them, but wouldn't be allowed to upload them, and the author hasn't visted this board for 18 months. so one wouldn't be able to get permission.
Why does this mod not have more endorsements? This is a fantastic mod. By far the best dark brotherhood armor mod there is. Just like the oblivion Armor, nice and simple. Well done!!
probably vanilla use a suede and you textured as a grained leather, thats why you though it was low textured in vanilla. The back vanilla picture show an old suede.
