i have the nightingale prime retexture mod installed an that works fine but for some reason this mod just refused to remove the cape no matter what i do even vortex is telling me the mod is redundant or something am i missing something?
I know this is a couple of years late but it might help with others who have this same issue,
I managed to get it to work with the mod you mentioned, all i did was remove the texture for both male and female capes called nightingalearmorcapem and nightingalearmorcapef from the nightingale textures folder under data.
Hope this works for anyone who likes to have a HD texture on the Nightingale outfit yet still want a different cape.
Is there a mod that'll remove the capes from the vampire armors? I'm using HDT cape mods and I think it'd look REALLY weird for my character to have a static cape clipping through the HDT cape I'd have them wear, which's why I installed this mod in the first place. if there IS a vampire armor cape removing mod, someone please let me know.
I'm trying to remove the cape on the sleeveless mesh from "Sleeveless Nightingale Request Reply" (by Solidus2845) so I can have the best of both worlds, but NifSkope can't help me with that. How did you do it?
Getting the combination right is a b&@*$ and a half, but the idea is to make the texture of the cape invisible (delete it in the nightingalearmorbodym.dds and nightingalearmorbodyf.dds) and apply your new textures to the sleeveless meshes. If that doesn't make sense, I can try to recreate my results and upload it. No promises though -- Skyrim is very sensitive when it comes to invisible textures.
Um, i dont have any nightingale modification mods and my cape is stilol there... halp plz its odd because it worked at one point.... oh also i have tried reinstalling it btw thx
[EDIT]: Oh soz i fixed it turns out i didnt fully uninstall it before reinstalling it xD
