Even after all these years, this mod is the best Oldrim rendition of Umbra. Still wish it had a sheath. I would make one myself, but I'm not that good with blender or anything like that.
Lore wise, Umbra was claimed by the Champion of Cyrodiil, yourself, since I know you were on OBLIVION before. So, lore wise still, you are willing to kill your former self to be able to give the new hero your sword? Please, that's selfish as it can get. Just get used to the idea that lore wise, you cannot get what you're not supposed to get. Fin.
Umbra was a damn cool sword and it is completly understandable that someone would wish to be able to own in again. OP is also clearly aware that it is impossible to own it lorewise, which he clearly states. That's why it's a mod.
Not every mod has to make perfect sense in the lore. Hardly any of them do, and that's good.
P.S. The last person to wield the sword wasn't the hero of Kvatch, but it was destroyed in a elder scrolls novel
Got this mod running for a month but never once encountered Umbra... I guess since he is travelling, it is not possible to put a map somewhere of his location?

IE a reason for his hostility etc...
He also needs to be a lot tougher...
He was yielding to my Mount and dies very quickly.
The Sword can be Mighty if you have the skills to improve it.
