Like many others here, the White Royal armor as it's stand-alone variant is extremely bugged with the textures. I cannot for the life of me see what went wrong and where it is.
Its a nice set of AC and as a total replacer it works well. But if you use the standalone, it looks a bit weird, basically the texture mappings seem messed up. I tried to understand what exactly was wrong so I could fix it, and gave up. So I went for a quick & dirty fix instead.
For 90% of the true standalone look I did some texture swapping within the Messias file. Renamed the "main" group as "lowmain", the lowmain group became sukato , and the sukato group became main , utihuku was left as is. Thats it .. 5 minutes work !
Now in game I take the Dark Royal Armor with Skirt & SideFlaps and Dark Royal Boots and wear it with the original Dark Gaunlets and it looks a winner, ... note that the skirt is now textured similar to the chest piece, it is no longer fabric, which I like better anyway. Because of the revised texture mapping there are some interesting looks when you mix & match between the 2 Royal sets. So now I have this mod combined with the original source mod [11050] , the texture upgrade mod [#15594] , plus the CBBE HDT with Bodyslide mod [#66856], four basic AC sets and as many different combinations & looks as you could ever want all in full HDT.
As always experiment at your own risk and keep backups.
textures on this for my character dn't even match the map. If that makes scene. Like for example where the gold should be its black. Is it something I did I have the original.
I am also having an issue with the standalone version... The texture is distorted on all the body meshes, the gloves and boots are fine however. I really like the look, but can't use it at present
