Here is the link to the *updated 1.5 version* i'm not posting this on nexus as i didn't ask for permission i just fiddled with this mod a bit to make it better for my own personal use but i know that spears are really important to more people than just me so hopefully you enjoy this more immersive version of an already great mod.

-spears are made one handed but are still held as a two hand but looks great with a shield or spell.
-spears are faster.
-spears have been changed from battleaxes to one handed swords perk wise for stab kill moves.
-iron hunting spears have been handed to all the non orc hunters, steel spears to all the guards, orcish spears to orcish hunters.
-At the skyforge there is a book Eorlund keeps around with details that lead to a powerful and legendary Spear named Gungnir (as per requested in the comments) this is probably one of the most badass weapons you will encounter in the entire game, go find it or console command "help gungnir" for the code.
Thanks to the author for making this mod and allowing me to have the weapon i sorely wanted in skyrim all along. Enjoy.
all spear mods are worthless without the spear combat animation example? look at the crappy bad animation in the screen shot of his and you'll all see I speak the truth, using a spear in combat like a two handed sword bad animation for spears then why bother using any mods that add spears.
You can do it yourself in tesvedit. I'm about to. In fact I'm making the orcish spear longer and thinner while I'm at it. I usggest using soolie's mod and switching the animation type to staff. That way in theory you'll have a staby staby spear. I'm doing it now but I have a heavy load order so the patching is taking quite some time.
Hi Diyeath, this sounds interesting what values do you have to change to make it one-handed, do you have a relevant tutorial? What do you mean by changing the animations type to staff? Do you mean replaing the normal one hand attack animations or something else?
I just revisited Skyrim after a long absence. So, I got the latest version and then loaded up the most popular bugfix mod, and then went looking for something a bit unusual. Lydia absolutely loves this spear, and she looks wonderful when helping me with a dragon, just stabs 'em in the soft parts. Cheers all involved.
this isn't a spear, it's just a redesigned 2H axe / warhammer, in fighting stance you even hold the thing back to front facing the wrong way, i was very disappointed when i finally made my first spear and equipped it as the other spear mods are sword-staffs and halberds not actual spears so when i saw actual spears i got excited
please let me know if you ever fix this so its an actual spear mod using your spears instead of sword-staffs like others do as i would love to have some neat spears, also please provide more info on how to uninstall this mod without getting heaps of errors as i would like to remove it until its actually got spear fighting animations added so it looks.. well, like spears not redesigned hammers/axes
There won't be Animations for spears (if you don't want to replace the animation of another weapon) as long as Bethesda does not make it possible to include them (or includes those themselves) (Bethesda already made those animations, but hadn't included them (nor spears) in Dragonborn, though they were able to do so. They would have made many people happy with that, I guess)
You see, the animations of a weapon are not based on the weapon but on the weapon-category, and asking a modder to add a new weapon-category and that is needed in your request, is simply too much.
spears look much better with one-handed animations, there is another mod that does this. But the problem with that one is that the models are just swords glued onto a staff. Could you please make a version of this mod where they are wielded one-handed?
I agree, surely the solution is to use a great sword animation rather than battleaxe/warhammer one. The attack stance would have the point facing upwards rather than backwards, spears like great swords would be faster and lighter than those great heavy warhammers etc AND great swords have that awesome impaling kill move!

haven seen any and i install the mod in Lv1 and now i'm level 15 and still nothing.

Here hopes this helps, it's a spear animation but it only works for Player characters and not Npcs.
