Beautiful job! The lighting inside is the BEST I've ever seen and I've looked at a TON of houses. It's clear, bright but not too bright. I won't be using this mod for this character but I'm doing a manual download so I can save it for the future. Well done!

I've been working on this a lot of the afternoon today. Outside I've added a stable with a horse, a small garden (potatoes, leeks, cabbage, and grapes), some planters with various alchemical ingredients, a small livestock pen (2 chickens and a cow), and a dog to watch over everything. Also I did some landscaping and flattened out a larger area to accommodate everything. Update should be here soon.
Lovely little house mod, and plausible instead of being overdone like so many are. Endorsed!
@larinon: A second single bed for a companion would be a plus, and I'd favor that over the double bed, but with the "Spouses Live Anywhere" mod the double bed could also be useful. Maybe make the main bed a double, and put a follower's single bed in the basement?
I've actually thought about adding some other farm elements, like a field, plants (i.e. ingredients), some livestock, and the stable. I think that is pretty reasonable. I will probably put some time into this later this weekend when things are less crazy for me.
The entrance to the thieves guild is tricky because of the distance from the homestead to Riften, so in order to remain realistic I would prefer to not do that.
I've also thought about modifying the interior of the house to have a double bed. Would anyone be interested in that?
