gerritvb - I know what the problem is, but I'm at work right now and I'm a little fuzzy on the details.
Basically it works like this: On the weapon, you'll find the enchantment you described, EnchWeaponForceBlast sounds right to me. Search for and open the properties for that enchantment (which is sounds like you did) and look to the bottom right of that window. You'll see a section labeled something like "Scripts", and in that section there will be the script that controls this effect. I believe you can right click it and select edit, do that and you'll end up in the script editor, which is basically a text editor. The script is only a few lines, so the Force Blast effect line should be obvious. You can probably just remove the number at the end of that line, leaving no value for the effect, and get the regular "FusRoDah" strength. If not, just play around with different numbers at the end of that line and see what you like. Good luck, hopefully this helps.
I'm so confused. Please bear with me, I'm a modding newb.
I like this mod. It works for me. However, I don't like the 10x modifier to the effect. I just want an ordinary FusRoDah.
So, I go into the creation kit and look at the details for your mod. There's a few edits -- many to make the weapon appear, and one that seems to affect the strength of the enchantment:
EnchWeaponForceBlast
This contains a table, and in the table there is a multiplier that is set to 10. I change this to 1. I save to a new mod file (esp).
But when I try to load the data file, the sword doesn't appear! Do you have any idea what might be causing this? It seems like it should be so simple to change this sort of thing.
