I don't understand, the mod is different than one in the video (the video show us a real beauty and when you smith it on your forge...it's really different...)

The one in the video is a different version by a different mod creator, which he took down within the past year

i dont know if you still care about this mod, but i do think the handle size is a bit of a problem, bear in mind that elric was a weak-blooded manlet, the hilt is like a toothpick in the hands of a nord.
maybe include and optional file that increases the sword handle a small amount.
other than that i think everything else about the sword is spot on and i really like it.

Lovely blade I always loved Stormbringer. If I remember right Elric was a bit of a weedie fellow but would become a force of battle with Stormbringer in his hands. Cheekyboy66 raised a good point I think Stormbringer radiated a sickly smoke or mist, maybe it was a black/purple and it fed off the souls of it's victims.

yeah Elric under normal conditions was a weakling, he was a albino with thin blood which offered him little strength and with out all the drugs and potions he consumed in large amounts he barely had the strength to raise his head, with the energy that stormbringer passed onto him Elric soon lost his need for the drugs and potions and as long as he was knee deep in bloodshed he had a never ending supply of energy provided by the souls that the blade drank from each kill

is the handle supposed to be that small? it looks like it would snap in a serious fight

moorcock displays the blade with very slim handles and guards, if you think that the weapon is a very nasty and very powerful weapon where the smallest of scratches would mean death then you wouldn't want a large heavy cumbersome weapon rather you would want it to be slim and sleek and fast like a rapier which in a fight would devistate any fighter using anything bigger which would be slower, stormbringer was a graceful weapon that almost seemed to come alive in a fight and almost danced among the other weapons so any handle would most likely be slender just enough for grip to hold on to since the blade would be doing the work for you

Had no time for an overhaul yet wanted to make it bigger. have started modding these days again, so perhaps now is the time

ok I think the consensus would be that it is a long slender blade, wider than a rapier, slimmer than a broadsword and long hilt, black blade with red glowing runes the full length of the blade with a large round pommel but not to big, the pommel is just added weight to balance the blade making it easier to swing, give it some kind of dark radiance as if the blade existed in shadow if you get my imagry, but not so dark as to obscure the runes which you also want a dark almost crimson red and they have to glow, it is my opinion for emersion you do not want to be able to craft it and you don't want to be able to disenchant it which would solve your recipe problem

    hi Bloodysunday,
good idea to put "Stormbringer" Blade in Skyrim ! I am a great fan of Moorcok.
I will make a few remarks. Stormbringer already exists in Skyrim. It is the "EbonyBlade of Mephala" but it looks like a katana sword and have no runes. You could improve your model graphically and make a texture replacement for the Ebony Blade for example instead of make Stormbringer craftable ?
Stormbringer has no reason to exist under her name in Skyrim World. If you still want it to be malleable, it would have to be in the "Daedric" smith and not "Elf" smith and you should replace components of iron ingots by ebonite ingots (3) and ruby by black soul gems filled (3) for example.

Finally, here are some examples of screens of Stormbringer to improve your model (copy the links in google search engine) :

Would you consider to change your model or while creating a new texture for existing EbonyBlade?
    thank you for your answer.
    cordially

I don't think stormbringer or mournblade should be craftable or even disenchantable, they are rare and need to remain that way or you loose the emersion of the blades

i forgot something Boodysunday : Stormbringer should be a two handed weapon (but as speed as a one handed weapon) not a one hand weapon like in your version.
    bye

Problem with designing a visual representation of Stormbringer is that Moorcock himself kept changing his description. Nothing major, but sometimes runes are carved into the hilt only, sometimes into the blade also, and sometimes they glow red. Blade sometimes described as broad, but mostly as "fine" or even slender. Occasionally leaf shaped.
Some fairly constant points, the blade is said to be more than 5 feet in length, with the hilt being more than long enough to accomadate both hands. The pommel is always described as being round and often large. The sword gives off a strange black radiance (good luck with that ), and the sounds it makes. It screams in anger, murmers and moans in anticipation of bloodletting. As it kills it drinks the victims soul, and sends some of that life-stuff to its' weilder, revitalising him.
Ok, lets review Big black sword, health draining would suit best, weird black radiance, and it screams. Don't think there's any way to assign custom sounds to one sword in particular (is there?) and you'd still have to source the sound, so that probably won't happen, but the rest is doable.
So, a few things to reconcile with Skyrims design structure, and Bloodysunday I'm totally aware that you're not a Moorcock die-hard, but if you did decide to devote some time to it there are alot of Elric fans who would be very happy. And if you make Stormbringer, then you've also made Mourneblade (it's twin) at the same time. Bargain!
Btw renric99, although it is a two handed sword (described as being heavy yet as weildable and well balanced as a rapier) it's always worn on the hip and in the book "Stormbringer" Elric holds it in one hand and the Chaos Shield in the other.
My god this has been a long post...

I could go on for hours on the subject but the sword is deffinately not a claymore, but able to accomodate both hands so it is probably a hand and a half sword, which were typically long swords used through out the middleages and well into the renaseance eperiod, basically the hilt was half a hand longer that normal allowing the user to use both hands if extra force was needed in a swing.

As far as imagry, if modders can make a flaming sword I am sure one can be made with a dark radiance, even if you engulfed the sword in flames, colored those flames a very dark grey so as to not overly obscure the blade and it was a rune blade so in my head I see runed along the full length of the blade, with a large glowing stone on the pommel, very doable

Bloodysunday there is lots of reference material on the subject of you should choose to google it and like it was said, you would make lots and lots of people happy if you got even close to accurate
