After ages looking for a suitable mod for my needs I found this.. its perfect for my needs, its rock solid stable too! The only thing that would be nice is the ability to rename the marked locations so I don't have to write them all down but hey can't complain. Definitely endorsing this one, Thanks Arinbell
Is it possible to do a custom marker teleportation. Like placing custom maker on the map and use a spell to teleport there as another option. The mark/recall feature is nice for me to teleport back to my custom homes but to teleport to a custom marker without having to mark it first would be nice.
There is a psijic teleport mod that adds a spell called omnipresence. It transports you to a big room with a giant map on the floor. You just stand where u wanna go on this map and cast the spell again to spawn there.
This is a stunning mod with a almost hidden feature that makes it a 'must have' for anyone with any number of followers and who don't want the huge footprint of AFT. The one thing that Bethsida ommitted for the entire follower system is 'following'. They are great when it comes to following you into tight alcoves where they trap you but when it comes time to jump, climb a hill, swim a lake, climb down a hill/mountain, or negotiate a step, a log or even the silliest obstacles like a flight of stairs they are woefully poor at following. You'd laugh if it wasn't so annoying.
Now, the title of this mod may put some people off... especially those who consider teleport some kind of cheat and to those players, I say, don't use that function. the other function is to summon followers from anywhere in Skyrim which means that the "where is Lydia, now" dillemma is over. Just get to the top of the hill, the bottom of the mountain or past the obstacle and "summon followers".
The other little gem in this mod requires players to adopt the habit of putting a teleport location at the entrance to every dungeon they enter. This is not to 'cheat' as it were but to overcome another problem that I have come across on several occaisions. In many dungeons you can get 'stuck' in clutter and other places and it has nothing to do with game play and everything to do with glitches and bugs. This can also happen in exterior cells but fast traveling to the closest icon on your map will cure it. This mod gives you a way to clear the glitch when within an interior cell where fast travel is not available without need of reverting to an earlier save forcing you to redo the zone from scratch.
I mean, sure you can use this to get unstuck in interior cells. Toggling collision for a moment sounds like a simpler fix to that though, interior or not. Now, the follower issue this mod definitely sounds useful to help find the frequently disappearing buggers. Just the other day, I watched Lydia float away into the sky while standing up on a horse. Took a few times entering and exiting a cave to make her show up again.
I hear what you're saying, though AFT comes with its own built-in "summon followers" feature. What I really like is that if I teleport at noon from markarth to Riften or even to Solstheim, it'll still be noon when I get there, unlike fast travelling. I don't have to worry if I'm gonna get there in time for interacting with npcs and shopkeepers who might be asleep when I get there. Also I can place marks indoors. I can blip in and out to collect my income from my shop in breezehome and windstad mine, and heljarchen farm all in just minutes of ingame time rather than spending several hours fast travelling between them all.
Job well done. I run very heavily modded and this runs smooth and without issue. Morrowind had a mark and recall spell as well as teleport services and this was a needed mechanic. Thank you so much.
Two possibilities come to mind: 1. You didn't install the mod correctly. 2. You have another Whiterun mod installed that places an object over the stone. How are you installing mods? I would guess it's either with NMM or manually?
I've finished testing with Vilja and Serana. They both seems to be working. I've also tested with several other follower mod, and they all seems to be working fine. However, some of them may fail to check as not currently following, meaning they will still follow your teleport even after being dismissed. You can fix this either by turning off follower teleport on setting spell(which will disable teleport for every other registered follower), or by simply unregistering them before you dismiss them.
The MOD works great. Imho the best Teleport MOD. Sadly there is no way to have Serana and Vilja follow. If you read this, please make it run with this two Followers.

Very, very handy and endorsed.
Edit: I figured out it was conflicting with another mod that was keeping part of the mod active. I'm going to uninstall it.
No crashes after 100 hours use, and it saves a ton of headache.
Thank you very much arinbell for making this
THE SETTING STONE IS NOT THERE? WHAT DO I DO?????
