    You can turn off distant detail fade in the launcher. This INI does not have modified LOD settings so we can rule that out.

    I tried the udgrids7 thing and it freezes up on me.

    I will be a little more specific on my last question. I use sexy cities and lets say if i ride my horse or i run from the stall next to whiterun that big building that you have to go by if you were going back toward helgan, I have to almost get right up to it before the roof changes to the blue color.

    In the setting menu where you can adjust view distances I have all of them maxed out. so what setting in the ini file do i need to change in order for things to load up from a farther distance without having to change my ugride settings.

    @Airklot
    Go to you "My Documents Folder" -> My Games -> Skyrim
    Then open skyrim.ini and find ugridstoload=5 and set to 7
    Warning: this will decrease performance if you are not getting 60fps already

    or you could just decrease pop by increase actor, item, and object view distances through
    the launcher(options).

    You got some good tweaks here. I especially like the threaded ones every since I added them I get a lot less lag.

    I got my view distances set to ultra with ugride5, but yet i am getting to many pop-ups especially up close. for example around whiterun when i ride a horse it seems like to much of the land is loading up in front of me as i am moving along. what setting to i need to tweak to get more of the land to load from a distance?

    @Elizinator
    Spent a good bit of time to get them like that although they are still slightly blockey if you get super close. Much better compromise then turning on 8k shadows, super laggey for me.

    thanks. this definitely does help the terrible TERRIBLE block shadows in the base game.

    No, those tutorials just illustrate features of the SRWE (Simple Runtime Window Editor).
    If you want to continue the discussion about the method (way) I suggested you in my previous post in this thread, then lets do it at:
    http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=7347

    Because, it is kinda not good to talk here about another plugin.
    @thor220 My apologies for this!

    @dtgDTGdtgI already use this plugin a long time ^^
    I only use it to keep the windowed mode on the center of the screen.
    Those tutorials explain how to make this render configs different from the resolution?
    @thor220 I used only one resolution for testing this, but it was way lower then my normal configs on this resolution.

    @BugNexus
    Try my plugin SkyrimUWFM mod:
    http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=7347

    But it requires SKSE. I hope it can help you to make lower rendering resolution and still have fullscreen look. It will look some pixalated from close distance, but if you're playing at 2-4 meters distance from your monitor (playing on gamepad) that should look no bad.

    For example, you can set Skyrim config to render 1280x720, but set SkyrimUWFM resolution to 1920x1080. This will scale up the Skyrim output (1280x720) to 1920x1080 so it will not hit performance.

    EDIT: The resolutions mentioned above are just example. You can make 800x600. 4:3 or 5:4 proportions give +20%-30% performance comparing to 16:9 or 16:10. At least on my PC.

    Sorry for my english.
