Have you considered updating him? I don't know what scripting skills you may have but I think having a recurring nemesis like this would really be an awesome addition to the game. Maybe making him essential in a fashion, basically instead of having him die have him teleport away or simply respawn after losing one of the daedric artifacts and then after a set number of days he comes after you again like the hired thugs, DB assassins, or Thalmor kill teams?
Wow, this guy was kicking my lvl 35 butt ... I had to do a tgm to beat it, so he's no push over! While I can accept the issue some are having with daedric quests and balance but to be honest if you can beat him you can go around and do those quests anyway . Just giving us another way to get these cool items. I really like the back-story.
