Thank you! I've been looking for a mod to remap the hotkeys from 1-8 to different keys, as this worked wonders for playability and ease-of-use in Oblivion with the magnificent "Enhanced Hotkeys" mod.
Guess Autohotkey does the trick for now, but I cant wait to see some proper skyrim hotkey mods ^_^
@jburrowes i mean you can map the keys 1-8 to new keys. ie. you can use x or c to trigger a hotkey instead of 1 or 2 there are a lot of unused keys that are closer to wasd than buttons 5 through 8.
@P3X228 i don't have a 360 controller. and 360 controllers aren't natively supported by ahk.
i recommend using another program http://www.xpadder.com/ set up skyrim to use the keyboard, and use xpadder to setup your gamepad to simulate a mouse and keyboard. good luck.
At the moment; 11:00 pm EST, the download button tells me to wait an hour for this add on. If this works it will remedy my one issue that I have with the game. Pre-thanks on sorting this out!
