    thanks for the advice. i will go ahead and start adding the item names next to the codes. definitely more human friendly!

    Just a side comment on general batch files for Skyrim.

    Since they ARE text files, you can add actual descriptions to each line for the add items bits

    player.additem 0000000F 1000 ; adds one thousand gold
    player.additem 0000000A 50 ; adds 50 lockpicks

    note the ";" which makes the remainder of that line of text into a comment, and safely gets ignored by game engine. However, adding it to your lines of text, makes figuring out what you are adding MUCH more human readable and friendly.

    With just a list of player.additem xxxxxxxx codes, the reader/human/user has absolutely no clue what is being added and must do additional research to determine if a specific line of additems is what they really want to do.
