Thank you to all the fans of this mod, well wishers, contributors, critics and ishtalkers. Because of a variety of circumstances, this mod is probably not going to be updated. I don't want to put anything in stone, but my hardware situation has made modding more or less untenable so I am no longer in a position to work on it efficiently. If that changes, perhaps I'll return to it, but presently I find that unlikely.
So again, I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who stuck by this mod, put up with its shortcomings and failings, or provided good advice, bug reports, brilliant ideas or just plain good conversation. It pains me to leave it where it is, but I don't want people to wait on the edge of their seat for something that may not ever be coming.
I will however maintain the comment section and continue trying to answer any questions people may have about the mod, as it currently exists, in a timely fashion, for some time.
I wanted to private msg about this but i cant so here i go! - I made a mix and match martial art animation set using some of your animations. I wanted to upload it coz i really like it but not before consulting you first. How would you feel about it? I would be sure all people know some of the animations are yours although i forgot which are yours and which are evanoblivian's exactly but i remember some are yours. hope you accept and thanks for the mods man ^_^ ^^_^ ^_^
Version 2.4 is up and now the mod is split into four versions which may be confusing to some people and others might just like to know why.
Among other things, the update changes seven alcohols so that they can be used for drunken boxing: one in Vanilla Skyrim, four in the Dragonborn DLC and two in the Hearthfire DLC. Whether or not you have Dawnguard is irrelevant so it comes down to whether you have Dragonborn and/or Hearthfire.
So the four options are: you have neither, one, the other, or both.
The full list of changes can be seen as always in the change log in the main description.
About unarmed weapons. I went through all the trouble to get a decent knuckleduster model in game and it only equips properly in the left hand, with the right hand model hovering around the scabbard region. There's no fix for this problem. Unarmed weaponry is just so bugged in Skyrim and I don't feel much like fighting it any more. I could make gauntlet weaponry but that poses it's own set of challenges (losing an enchantment slot/perk bonus issues/etc.) So unarmed weapons are unlikely to ever show up in Skyrim in a satisfying way, unfortunately.
Look for Hand to Hand Skillz on xbox one. It is this mod with the unarmed warfare animations. I love using it, I just wish it would be patched to run with ordinator. It would be nice if this mod would get an SSE port for pc too.
