she wont wear any armor it just makkes her naked she takes weapons but armor does not work. please help me because i just want this to work and for someone to ACTUALLY HELP ME for ONCE Please>
Hmm there is a mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52065/ This will let you have any child as a follower, and wear any armor. But don't expect it to look nice. ESPECILAY if you have a skimpy armor replacer. *sudders* I also recomend Amazing follower tweaks be downloaded first. It will let you have all the followers you want, and things generaly work well with it. It even comes with a guide book, incase you get stuck. However if you prefer immersion, get ultimate follower overhaul instead. Less options, but more realistic.
Made her essential though UFO. She's still stuck at lvl 1 but that's OK. Its fun to watch her fight. She does pretty good lvl 13 environment with decked out gear.
LoL, she makes a good mule too. I'll have to get a group photo of her, Lydia and my main, Choco. So far, Skyrims monsters, quiver at the site of the three of them converging like panthers stalking their prey.

@hogancom you can set her to essential yourself using the console can't remember if you need her id or just click on her. If you need her id just type in help clover get id and use setessential id 1 that should make her essential 0 makes people non essential. If you just have to click her just open console click her and type in setessential 1.
You can give her weapons she just won't use them when you give her one she will equip it but when a enemy appears all she will do is pull the weapon out and use it to block and if she gets knocked down like all essentials do when she gets back up the weapon will be unequipped.
The only thing that I have seen her use is her fists and that is usually against a animal everything else she runs away shouting about falling back even seen her run over to a mammoth and punch it and I was like wth do you think you are Bruce Lee stop that and get back over here.
Ended up having to fight it to save her from it. I have also seen her use familiar conjure spell to call a ghost wolf but that is it. Also if you give her armor she is hit with same problem with giving stuff to people that only have 1 outfit and that is it makes them run around naked and giving her anything like armor and weapons is kind of pointless since her leveling is broken and she will stay at level 1 forever.
She is good for bait though get high sneak then items like peerless items with sneak Ceiro gloves and boots with muffle and whatever else you can find that has sneak let them hear you then go into sneak and watch as they chase her all over the dungeon and they will keep attacking her every time when she gets back up while you either sneak in to do a sneak kill/loot /do quests without interruption.
So unless you have a mod that allows you to have more followers I would pass on it unless you know how to get it working so that she levels with you and uses the weapons you give her. I would save the follower spot for a follower that you need that can attack and damage.
Does it work to give her weapons etc? Would be awesome if she would work like the little vampre girl in the dark brotherhood hideout Kudos for a great mod though!

Break that enormous chunk of writing down into, at the very least, two more paragraphs. It is incredibly difficult to read without going cross eyed.
