Honestly I don't think you can be blamed for the mannequin problem. I've downloaded The Asteria player home as well and while i haven't had some of the problems listed here, i have had the mannequins "travel" around the rooms there, the same as in the Thundersnow. I think it has something to do with how mannequins are made. I'm guessing that they were cloned from a race and made their own, so glitches could occur if Bethesda wasn't careful (and honestly it shows where they weren't).
In other words, I think it's a problem with the mannequins themselves, and until someone tears apart the coding for them and fixes/patches the issues with them they'll remain. Of course, this is just my unprofessional opinion and best guess as to the cause. there could also be some kind of variable that needs to be accounted for for there to be no issues, one that modders aren't aware of; though that again comes to head against Bethesda.
I like it. It would make sense to move the forge-style stuff to a porch or balcony (needs a tanning rack, like shayearafreya said) and a kitchen/dining room and a bathroom sort of thing, like turtlbrdr said, and I've noticed that while followers can enter, they seem incapable of going anywhere past the first room. Still, a good basic layout. BTW, is one of the mannequins supposed to have his arms crossed? Because he does.
I liked it too but did find it buggy. When I entered the house I could hear women fighting. I went into the Armory where all the Mannequins are and two mannequins were in mid air droping from above and fighting voice and all, real strange they would drop then vanish and they would be above the other mannequins and drop again. Very very strange it was like you planned it. The noise with them fighting was terrible. Other than that I really liked it.
This home has serious potential to be a very highly rated, highly regarded mod. I agree with the others about the things needed to be changed. Do that and this thing should really take off. I love the location. I'm already considering it to be my main player home, but I'm waiting for the improvements.
