Spent absolutely ages testing and choosing and combining dozens of mods, and when it comes to smithing, it looks like this mod is exactly what I'm looking for. It seems weird that you can make quality leather and iron armour without any skill whatsoever, and this fixes that.
I'll have to test it properly to be sure, but first impressions are excellent. Thank you very much for all the hard work this must have taken.
Instated of puting the same book but under other name you could just make it: "Arcane Smithing by xxx (This book contains whole knowledge about improving magically enchanted weapons and armors so they wouldn't lose any of they magical abilities) " its a simple solution, you might change it into something else later on if something good comes into your mind. or they could be simply made into a spell tomes, no one bothers reading it anyway.
Its just a thought, but you can add a Nightingale armor and bow as enthernal, if someone could re texture it to look different it would be even better(thought i like it being black). About the Mithril stuff... this armor from Oblivion looks cool (imho) so would be nice to import this one. heh I'm not a moder so it might be impossible to do so... You could also add some basic wooden stuff like longbow or hunters bow.
I may be just amazingly stupid, but I was unable to find any tomes so far... are there any? So I downloaded the Smithing Tomes mod as a makeshift solution... hope these two don't conflict. And if there are some tomes already in this version, would you please tell me any means of obtaining them? Thank you in advance.
Ok college is done, and I have been working on my own stuff, but I think it would be fun to make Mithral stuff, maybe figure something out of ethereal that isnt adult only, but maybe ethereal should stay as weapons...although skulls and stuff with the ghost effect hmm... let me know if you wouldnt mind if I tried to work on textures for you, meshes isnt really my thing so if someone wanted to make those for me i could texture, otherwise it will be retextures for now till i get better.
