    Ok guys here's the lowdown.

First off, thank you for all the kind comments and endorsements. It really does mean a lot to modders when you come back and give them a thumbs up.

Second, I always check these forums on a semi-regular basis and will continue to fix any bugs that are reported. However, a genuine bug hasn't been reported in quite awhile so I'm pretty comfortable with the current release.

And no, "this isn't working for me" is not a bug, something is wrong with your install - I'll refer you to the troubleshooting section on the main page because that covers the limit of technical support I can offer you. I'm no longer answering questions along the lines of "this isn't working" because I believe the number of downloads and endorsements are enough proof that yes, the mod works.

I'm also not going to be giving technical advice on how to use the construction kit to change the mod. The CK is a bear to work with, but there are plenty of online resources to help you.

Third, I've uploaded the source code for you all to tweak to your heart's content. These are fairly complicated scripts, so mess with them at your own risk. Last time I did this I got slammed with questions from people breaking the scripts. So I'm just going to say this now, if you broke the scripts do not come to me because I don't have the time to find bugs in your code.

Fourth, I am removing the download that was bundled with animations. Those animations were old, and there are far better unarmed animations available if you search the site (the faster punches will remain in the base download though).

And finally, I'm still hoping someone will do a video review of the mod. If you put one up on YouTube let me know and I will link it here, should generate some decent view numbers for you.

Thanks again everyone, I'm very happy so many of you have downloaded and endorsed this.

Could there be an SE/AE version? This seems pretty interesting being it's own custom perk tree. I do like how it replaces Speechcraft. That way I can combine it with other unarmed perks that aren't using Speech.

The problems I see with it is that it doesn't work in SE/AE and it also interferes with my animations.

Before we begin I'd just like to say that yes, I am dumb.
I'm using Ordinator in my load order, and thought a suave pugilist orc pirate would be fun. Rad, right? Anyway. Found this mod, started a new save with the new load order, followed the instructions, let myself get punched in the face and- nothing. Speech skill tree is still right where it always was. So I thought maybe Vortex did something screwy with load orders, so I tried making sure Grandmaster was lower than Ordinator. Still, nothing. So I copied all the Grandmaster scripts over manually thinking that might have been the problem. Again, nothing. I see comments below mine saying they got Ordinator to work with Grandmaster just by keeping track of their load order, and I'm wondering if anyone has a magic wand they can wave to make this thing work.

Does anyone have a version of this mod that replaces a different skill, or can someone help me out with making one? I want the Grandmaster tree to replace block since all my chars use speech and even when I'm using a shield block isn't the main thing I'm pumping skill points into. I tried looking at the instructions for how to set that up, but they're written in a way that makes no sense to me, as I have zero experience modding this game. If someone could upload an esm for me or just walk me through how to do it myself, you'd be my hero.

I took a look to see if anyone listed how to remove this mod with out breaking your game and did not see anything. So asking if anyone knows how to do it. As removing it will crash to desk top every time you try to load the game. I did read something about it changing something in the objectreference.pex so maybe your screwed after using this mod and have to start from scratch? Any help on this would be great thanks all.

This mod adds 4 things to your game folder:

      - ".esp" file
      - scripts
      - animations
      - objectreference.pex

Don't just remove the ".esp" file.

Careful with the instructions in "GrandmasterUninstall" folder - for some reason the instructions forgot to tell you to remove the animations.

To fully uninstall the mod you need to remove or deactivate the esp file first.

Second, remove both scripts and animations.

Third, replace the objectreference.pex added by the mod with your previous objectreference.pex file.

You can get the objectereference.pex file by installing the game elsewhere, then copying the file to your current game folder, for example.

If you are reading this before using the mod, then you might want to get a backup of this file.

DO NOT forget to remove animations as they WILL be loaded and played even without the ".esp" being used.

Not to start besmirching anyone's hard work, but I seem to be having some issues with save bloat... I jumped from a 7mb save to 17mb the next save, and, using save scanner, the only mods present in the 17mb save that aren't in the 7mb save are this, and the Steam Workshop mod that adds mutant races, plus Wolverine claws (what can I say, it sounded fun :P). I know the save scanner is giving accurate information too, because I always rename saves to reflect a new mod addition. The 7mb save is named "pre grandmaster".

Thing is, I had the Mutant Races mod installed in my previous playthrough that I played for many weeks and saves from that character never exceeded maybe 9mb. I didn't use the claws in it though, and I HAVE been using the claws with my current character.

Anyway, I'm running some tests to see which of those mods may be the culprit. A couple days after installing those two aforementioned mods, my saves now exceed 30mb on a level 15 (it initially jumped that 10mb in about 5-10 minutes, as I save several times an hour, and after that, it climbed slowly). I didn't even notice the bloat until today. I'll update if I figure it out.

Edit: I removed Grandmaster, went to my very empty home and let the game run for about 20 minutes (with the SKSE setting "clearinvalidregistrations=1"). Sliced 21mb off a 32mb save... I'll now play for an hour or so and see what happens... Its possible that this mod alone is not to blame, but that it just doesn't play nice with the Wolverine claws.

Edit 2: Well, 5 hours of gameplay and my save files have remained stable at 11mb so far... But seeing as no one else seems to have mentioned this issue, I'm guessing it was more likely a conflict than this mod by itself that was the problem.

I can't compile the scripts for some reason, even in their unedited form.

I love the mod, and have been using it for a while. I do have a question, which didn't occur to me until recently. I think others may have asked this question but, I didn't see an answer. I've recently been thinking about how to optimize a werewolf character, and I was wondering if the boosts to unarmed damage will affect me while I'm in beast-form.

So I've got the mod, good mod and all, but recenty a bug popped up. I no longer get exp towards Grandmaster from hitting and killing things. I know you dont see the progress bar, but I've killed at least 150+ things (with only my bare hands) and Im still level 41 in Grandmaster.
