I've just stumbled upon this mod, and it fixes a problem I've had with Skyrim since literally 2011. Unfortunately, it isn't working, and I dare say I've never wanted a mod more, so I'm going to look into it some more and try to figure things out. For reference however, I am using the 0p85 version, and my issue seems to be that neither the start up dialogues nor the McM are appearing when starting a new character.
Moreover, using the console to "StartQuest" of kuGAQ and kuGAxMCMQ have done nothing. Notably though, the console doesn't throw back an invalid quest id when I try those, even though it also doesn't throw back any output, which I dare say is odd behaviour. Out of curiosity, does the start up quest rely on MQ101 stages? If so that may be the cause, although that seems unlikely.
Any help anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated! If I figure this out before someone else does, I'll edit this post with a solution to my problem.
EDIT1: Typos.
EDIT2: I tried using console commands to progress the Live Another Life start quest stages, in the off chance the mod required them to be completed before functioning (I always test new mod additions on a CoC Whiterun character, for save safety) and that did not work. Moreover, there is an error on the description page. the quest "arthlalstartsquest" no longer exists, and has been replaced by "arthlalchargenquest" in newer versions of Live Another Life.
EDIT3: So I've fixed the problem. It seems the quests associated with this mod's start up are in fact tied to MQ101 progression that is disabled by Live Another Life. I was able to create a new dummy quest with the appropriate name and progress it normally to get the mod to function. All in all that solution works fine.
That being said, is the McM a little off? It would seem the section headers are in the wrong spots. For example, even in the image posted on this page, the "Gem Adjustment" tab of the McM is above the soul gem adjustments. Similarly the "Soul Gem Adjustment" finds itself above the regular gem adjustments, very minor, no concern.
All in all now that the mod works, I'm very happy with it. Since 2011 I've been aggrivated by the exorbitant amount of gold that everyone apparently has and moreover that people just leave all their gold in their damned dresser. This great mod (which works very well, once I got it functioning) will almost definitely be a permanent addition to my load order, thanks kuertee!
Hello kuertee, thanks for the update ! I use the Rayek's End house mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71081) and the latest version of your mod but I still get some token item from your mod added to my inventory every 3 seconds or so. This happens everytime I'm in that house, could you please have a look ?
Just resave in the CK. Also, note that FISS is actually required (or likely just FISSFactory.pex and FISSInterface.pex), otherwise it won't work, I guess because those scripts were not included in the release.
Hey kuertee. I've returned to Skyrim after a long break, and am glad you finally updated it. However, using the latest version the MCM doesn't actually appear in the MCM menu, and this is on a new game. I do get the pop up that the mod is activating/running the first time I activate the mod, and get the message that the MCM is active twice: Once before Gold Adjustment main mod starts, and once after it has started.
Edit: Fixed an issue with a separate mod, loaded the game, and the MCM seems to be working now.
I want to know too. My guess is that he just abandoned this game :/ Edit: Sent him a PM. Edit: He replied! he thinks the fix is ready and will try to upload it when he hjas some time, I told him to consider to give some skilled modder permission to update the mod when necessary. I hope so, it's an unique mod.

Otherwise, essential mod.
