She has: Class- CombatMageDestruction Combat Style- csHumanMagic Conjuration Skill- 30 Conjuration Perks- Novice, Apprentice, Adept, Expert, and Master Magicka- Offbase of 1000, total is 1105 Summon Spell- ConjureFlameAtronach (I set the spell to be cast at 50 magicka)
I don't know what I am doing wrong, it kinda like Cinder's stats minus the perks, I don't see her perks.
I am trying to make pure mages that can use summons. They come from Beautiful Characters and Companions and Lighting Standalone Follower mods. The class I have them on right now is EncDragonPriest. I am trying to get them to level into Destruction, Restoration, Conjuration, Illusion, and Alteration. I even settle without Illusion.
What class should I use for getting stats for mages and having summons?
Which combat style did you use for the summons?
Combat AI package is the same as combat style?
Sorry, I don't understand what you mean by assign spells. They have spells in their spell list and the right perks. I have put the cost of the conjure spells to 50.
Lastly, should I start over after I implement the changes? Or, should I disband and wait a number of days until it takes effect?
Do they have unlimited magicka or something? I just started using cinder over frost and noticed she dual wielded fireballs rapid fire and she must have thrown about 25 in like 45 seconds. It just seemed like she couldn't run out which could make her op with that rapid fire style she likes to use lol.
To get created companions to use summons, you have to make sure you do the following correctly:
1. Be sure to choose a proper character class (which will in turn regulate their combat AI package)
2. Give them the proper Conjuration skill level (low Conjuration skill = wimpy or no summons)
3. Make sure they have adequate magicka to cast said spells.
4. Assign the proper perks from Conjuration so that once they reach certain levels that they will gain access to the perks. If they only have beginner perks; they will quickly become under powered after about level 20. When creating characters and giving perks, don't take shortcuts. Give them every skill level of every perk (novice, adept, etc.) so that they will level into the appropriate perks as the game progresses.
5. Make sure to actually give them the proper Conjuration spells (and double check to make sure you didn't forget to assign spells).
So - do you get to ask them about their stories? Talk with them? anything like that? or are they just yet more meatbags that carry my loot and run into traps?
I like the idea, but It's kind of frustrating to see them implemented in about five minutes of kit time.
Also - make them their own spells next time - the user doesn't have to see and won't even know.

After you dismiss them they will revert back to what they have as default. This is how Bethesda set them up. There may be mods out there that change this, but with vanilla set up; they will always revert back to default clothes when they aren't in your service.
To get them to re-equip gear once they're following you again; just trade with them.

Thanks for being patience with me.

How did you get them to do that?
Certain order of perks, combat style??
