    Looks great once you enable ambient occlusion (ATI user), performance is still very good with it enabled along with Bokeh DOF.

    Added a couple of images.

    Uploaded v3, mainly so that the new fast DoF code from Matso is available. It's actually pretty fast, too, the FPS hit on my machine is less than 5 (== completely negligible). Of course, other systems might not fare as well or you simply might not like it, so you can just set it to false instead. Give it a try first, though. It is also configurable, but I found that with a minor tweak, it's totally fine even in my 3rd person playstyle.

    Important (I think): if you have DoF on in enbseries, turn it off in SkyrimPrefs.ini (and you should not be using Dynavision or similar either):

    [Imagespace]
    bDoDepthOfField=0

    I'll do some more night adjustment tomorrow.

    Thanks for all your work on this great mod. I wouldnt have the attention span to bother with all this myself, and had been searching for a mod with the same ethos as mine.

    I love that I am so dependent on light sources, magelight and candlelight for any sort of night time travel. Having wandered the country roads of Ireland at night, I know just how dark an unlit walk can be. Almost died a few times face down in a ditch after the pubs shut. Would have been even trickier with Frostbite spiders on the prowl.

    I used all the mods you recommended too, and for night time I gave it a little nudge using 1+pg up -just so there was a little something to work with. I would consider this done, but I will look forward with interest to the future adjustments you decide upon.

    Good luck!

    Great mod. The only adjustments I'd like to make is my char in the daylight looks a bit washed out and a little more vibrant color....just those little tweaks and this one will be perfect for me. Any guide on how to make those changes? Thanks.

    You can probably achieve both by making changes in saturation in the section at the top of enbeffect.fx. Use text search in your editor (usually Ctrl-F) to look for uctsat, and look at the comments for instructions. Alternatively, you can change EColorSaturationV2 instead, but it's a lot more finicky. When changing saturation, you may also want to adjust contrast and brightness a little. Also, remember that there are several kinds of sunlight especially with RL, so try it out in a couple at least.

    If that doesn't help with the washed out effect, perhaps adjusting the ratio of direct lighting and ambient lighting, or as a last recourse, the lighting curves (which are kind of contrast-like in their effect).

    @AlexJonshon: Thanks! It is indeed dark, you *need* lights. Personally, I typically don't travel at night or in storms (I have a tent for that!) For next version, I'm going to try to adjust the dark contrast a little and maybe push the brightness up just a bit, to give better definition in the dark. Unfortunately the actual lighting fixes of torches, chandeliers and so on will take some time, so I might need to compromise a little temporarily. Remember, also, that you can use 1 + PgUp/PgDown to adjust night/interior brightness to a degree.

    Another one for next version is to up the specularity slightly. Extensive research has shown I've been a little too conservative avoiding shine on skin (although metal and skin should have much more distinction than they do...)
