I installed the "myconfig version" and was surprised by just how great and natural it all felt. Like the d-pad going clockwise through my hotkeys, the shortcuts to magic, skills, inventory and map matches the layout of the tween menu and quicksaves are easy to do but not accidentally.

I would love to play with this setup if it wasn't for the only problem I'm having, the favourites menu doesn't work. I press back and I get the wait menu. I've fooled around trying to get the favourites menu to show but I can't do it, having SkyUI installed doesn't seem to matter either way.

Hi ! This is a great mod ! =) But is it normal "LB + Back" open the "Wait menu" and "Back" too ?
Can you say to me how to fix it to open the favorite menu with "LB + Back" ? Thank you in advance ! =)

Hi guys. So how is this mod compared to Red Ninja's mod? I really dug RN's version until SkyUI broke it <img class=">

Does anyone know of a way to decrease the stick deadzone to 0.2? I have done this in battlefield 3 and is much better but cant find how to do it for skyrim.

I don't use SkyUI so I don't know if this even works with it. Normally you just select / highlight an item in your inventory or favorites menu and press the hotkey you want down for a second and then the item is assigned for the hotkey. Then the item should get equipped by just quickly pressing the hotkey.

I don't think it's possible, at least not easily. Maybe with some advanced modding but I'm not that skilled. What you can do is change individual spells to go to the right hand or left hand only. Then the spells work like shields or one-handed weapons and you can't dual-wield them. This works ok for spells like restoration, alteration, conjuration or other spells that you don't need to necessarily dual-wield. I almost always use my shield or a ward in my left hand so I put all my hotkeyed spells to be right hand only. I tried to change the weapons but it didn't work - they always go to the right hand.

Yeah, that is a problem with the hotkeys and default hands. But it also depends on playstyle. I never dual wield weapons so I actually prefer the thing you described. On the other hand it's annoying for me when spells always replace my shield. Some customization would be nice.

Is it possible to map 1-4 to the right hand and 5-8 to the left hand. OR vise versa? Some, like shields and torches are default to the left, but this would be an absolute fix to the problem.

It would also be a selling tool and would most definitely spark a slew of added endorsements.

Thanks for the thanks and endorsements everybody!

I guess it's the new patch. I always play 1st person cause it's much better like that. But I tested this out and it zooms in when you unequip weapons. Quite annoying indeed. But I can't help with that.

If I wan't to change my sword for a fireball for example, I hit fireball hotkey twice and then the shield hotkey. It's a little clumsy but at least I don't have to pause the game and use the favorites menu.
