The robes in the screenshots are a CBBE modded set of the Black Mage Robes.

I didn't list the robes mod in the description because I honestly couldn't remember which one it was I was using.

I got it here on the Nexus, so searching through the robe mods might help you track it down if you really want them.

If I can ever remember of figure out exactly which robe replacer I used; I'll post info in this mod's description.

When making a companion with the CK and using Apachii's make sure that you check the Skyrim ESM, the Apachii ESM but don't set either to an active file.

Each time you load the companion esp you're working on into the CK make sure that you continue to load the Skyrim ESM and the Apachii ESM. Be sure to make the companion ESP you're working on an active file until you convert it to an ESM with tesivsnip. Once the ESP has been converted; follow Blackie's tutorial like normal with the exception of loading the Apachii ESM. Always load the Apachii ESM.

If you don't already have it; you can pick up Blackie's tutorial here:
    http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=11669
It will be a read me in the zip file of his companion pack.

Hopefully some of the above info helps.

Also remember that Apachii hair will NOT display in the head-only viewer of the actor window. It will only be visible in the full body view and you will need to update it (recheck it) each time you make changes to see them in the display window. Head-only view will always show your characters as being bald, so use the full body view to adjust/change the hairstyle.

    ok, this is wierd ...

both you and the custom companion guy say that you can use multiple esm files at the same time in CK, but my one doesn't let me do that, it aborts the load whenever i try, i use the apachii esp instead but even though it saves when i close and reopen CK to check that it worked it says that it can't find head part ********* (obviously the hair i tried to give her) and it just loads her with the default hair instead, i dunno, maybe i've not done something right when setting up CK or something but its not working for me properly for some reason.

ah well, i'll live, she's too useful to worry too much about plastic lookin hair.

    thanks anyway mate.

    First; go here
    http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=11669
The mod here will have a read me inside that is a walk through for creating companions and fixing the discoloration bug (head and body color not matching) that the CK causes.

To start, load the CK and turn on Skyrim ESM, Apachii ESM, and then turn on the ESP of this companion and set it as the active file.

When looking for her in the actor list, she will be there under companion (it will be that word non-capitalized with a letter-number setup following it...companion1a as an example). Once you find that; double click it to bring up her actor page (where you do the editing).

Just remember that Apachii Sky Hair will NOT display in the head only view window (she will appear bald). Apachii Sky Hair will only display in the full body view window.

Once you've gotten that just follow the tutorial from there on and you should be good to go. Just make sure that you turn on the Apachii ESM each time you load up the Creation Kit since the altered companion you're working on will need it to function.

Thanks mate, i've got her following me around right now, she makes a better companion than jenassa and j'zhargo (my last 2 followers), decent eye candy too.

My only real issue with her is that her hair style is one of the vanilla ones, and i don't know how to change her hair to an apachii one, i've tried npc editor and creation kit but neither one will open her, any ideas?

Her main skills revolve around one handed, light armor, magicka increase on level up, destruction skill, and minor archery skill just in case her staff loses charge and she needs ranged combat.

She's set to level up as you do (her range is set dynamically to scale from level 8 up to level 80). I started her out at level 8 so she isn't under-powered out of the gates (that and most people are close to or past level 8 after the tutorial and the starter Riverwood quests).

Her perks all revolve around the Destruction skill tree (she should max out the perks on her way to level 80).

The main characters I use are also melee tanks (two-handed and heavy armor) so I definitely understand your desire to have an offensive spell companion.

Hook her up with a good set of light armor, a good one handed weapon, and a good staff/wand for her off-hand and you should be good to go. I gave her a staff and some soul gems to try and keep her charged up for a good while (that and you can take some of them for your stuff if you ever find yourself in need of a recharge).

    Hey Grim

What are her Stats mate, does she go for light or heavy armor, judging from the pics shes probably a 1h user, also what perks does she have, my guy is a melee tank so i need a decent ranged follower, i've got a custom jenassa following me around at the moment (pretty much just removed the level cap and changed her appearance a bit) in a set of silverlight armor which i'd prefer to keep using on the new girl that's gonna follow me around.

    Thanks

    Chris
