If it's suppose to be the same horse from oblivion shadowmere is female. I think them calling her a male was an error.

Works great, except for one quirk; this makes Shadowmere show up as a 'red dot' on the compass, after combat is over.

Just in case anyone was wondering. This mod does appear to work fine, and it's been playing nice with my other 90+ mods too. No apparent glitches/bugs, and everything appears completely functional so far as I can tell

I'm running with the latest SKSE (v1.6.16) & official patch (v1.9) I have Dawnguard, Dragonborn, & Hearthfires installed. As well as the latest unofficial patches for everything (Skyrim, DG, DB, ect) On top of that I have the rest of my favorite mods installed

Great work, makes Shadowmere her old awesome self
Glad to see this awesome mod still works!

Hi Raj! Amazing mod, it gets rid of my shadowmere tank. But I was wondering if you had the time to make a separate tweak? I'd like for Shadowmere to run away from fights/avoid danger and still retain your mod's other features. So no one will attack Shadowmere, Shadowmere won't engage, but will still run a small distance away for the sake of immersion. Otherwise I feel like NPCs are a little stupid for not taking notice of my red-eye demon horse

The reason it is refered to as "her' here is due to TES history. Apparently the Skyrim team failed on their research here a little.

"She is one of the fastest horses in the game"

I am enjoying your mod from its first days but you should clean it a bit because I saw with TES5edit that you've placed/changed some objects in two cells -by mistake I assume- .

I've cleaned it for me but its better if you have a clean version uploaded.

    Thanks.

Also, why have you edit the "tint" parameters for "Prisoner" ? Is it for some reason?

@Member121 - They should only attack you. They should even attempt to attack you and not Shadowmere when mounted but a lot of creature's angle of attack in too short to hit you when mounted. When you dismount they should continue to attack only you.

I have been using the other Shadowmere mod you made (Another Shadowmere Mod, http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/10863) and I really like it.

However, the "Another Shadowmere Mod" makes Shadowmere act as a tank in some situations. Sometimes I will be galloping along when I am attacked (bears, sabercats, bandits, etc). What I do is stop, dismount and start fighting. Meanwhile, Shadowmere just stands there attracting the attention of enemies. And, this has started to interfere with my strategy.

Standing there I like. Tanking I don't like.

So, my question about this mod is... As I am riding along the countryside will enemies (bandits, sabercats, and anything else) still attack me?

Or, in other words... As I am riding along will a bear (bandit, etc) attack? And, when attacked, if I stop galloping and dismount will the bear attack me or Shadowmere?

And, a big thank you to the modder for making a useful mod that is nice and stable and works!!!

Make sure your running the "Dawnguard Ready" version if you have Dawnguard installed and the old version if you do not have it installed.
