Only issue with this mod is the random high level items in it (glass sword next to the main bed) but other then that exactly what I was looking for, simple yet has all my needs.
Beautiful mod - i'm using 1.0 (( i changed some small things (important for me) > i removed high level weapons an armor and replaced them... by a vampire-boss Lev.30 with money & gems (wich can'T respawn) - !! Thanks for this mod !!
This house is a jewel. Aesthetical, practical and cozy. I had to move on from another house mod due to heavy script lags and searched for something not too big (I hate those oversized and overcluttered mansions ) and comfortable. I found it here. And like Ruze I'm glad that there are no loading areas.
I love the house. It fits my character's style and his personal life more. I love how the basement and first floor are all one zone (no extra loading). I love that the outside workshop and alchemy table have all I need on my wandering hunter/mercenary (no out of place enchantment altars). I love the feel of the mannequins and display cases. And in general, I just love the aesthetic.
My issue? Well, this mod is going on a year from last update, so I'm not sure if anyone is paying attention here. But integration with Hearthfire, including a small bedroom for the kids, would be damn near perfect.
Ideal home - very bijou. (Little worried by sickzpack's comment of no smelter, but that was a while ago - either that or I have got a "wandering smelter virus" ).
Loved the imprisoned torchbugs by the gate - I may spend some time watching them die, heh heh ;-} (considering the location an' all)
I´ve spent the last three hours looking for a house that doesn´t have EVERYTHING (I like to interact with the world a liitle bit) and isn´t a palace as I am suppose to be a humble newcomer and hunt and make potions for a liviing. And to be somewhat realistic (a smelter IN the house?????). And found this mod... just to say thank you for your time and congratulations for the result. Greetings from Argentina!
Just wanted to let you know that the "Vanilla Mannequin Script Fix" seems to cause some serious problems for people using the latest USKP or even DLCs. I know not everyone does, but it would be a shame if people come here to complain about another mod you recommended. One should always read descriptions, comments and back up saves before installing something, but few people do and blame it on others when their saves go nuts. Your mod does not deserve this.
Thank-you for letting me know. Where I haven't updated my Skyrim since patch 1.8.151 and do not have any DLC's. I wouldn't have known of any issues with the Mannequin Script Fix.
You're welcome. I'm sure the MQ Fix isn't a bad mod and I would surely try it again another time but for now it really seems to need an update and/or fix. The new official 1.9 patch changes so much (and I don't even have that one myself). Not talking about the Dragonborn DLC.
I am very happy with "my" new house btw. Endorsed².
To EmuXanadu: Thank-you so much for the kind words and happy to hear it's working out for you.
Update: I've uploaded version 1.4. Now there is more room due to a lower level. Now accommodates 2 followers for sleeping. I've left version 1.3 available incase anyone prefers Hvila without the lower level.
Please! If you're updating to version 1.4. Un-install the older version and then make a clean save before installing this latest version.
This is a really great player home. I wanted something more sensible and straightforward for my character than a huge sprawling mansion. This mod is tastefully done, has great attention to detail and is very lore friendly. Thanks for sharing. The little statue of Talos upstairs is a great touch. Endorsed.

I haven't played Skyrim for over a year and never did get any of the DLC's like Heartfire, but, when I do play again I will consider your idea.
