Not very creative on the name front but I played with this follower on my friend's PC and it's not bad... Except for the heals and lack of AI scripting and package.

One thing though... She looks horrible.

I have zero successful experience with scripting and every attempt thus far has ended poorly.

At this point I feel like I 'm either wasting time with epic fails in scripting OR I'm being productive by releasing companions I know how to make.

I keep my mods open so if anyone wants to try scripting for them they can. I have no issues with people using my mods with their mods.

@ Grim - So for the horrid heal other AI...how bout a simple script attached to the follower that would check the players current health, if health drops below X, it will trigger the NPC to cast heal other on the player?

The Good - bypasses the crappy AI and makes healing followers useful.
The Bad - Could suck up a ton of memory, could also get in a redundant loop if the NPC has low magicka. Might be able to have it only check during combat, or every few seconds to avoid memory issues, might also need to put in a check for level of magicka and "if" passed the casting if it's to low.

I'm a pretty poor scripter and I honestly don't know if this will work or just break the game to all get out.

    Just a thought.

Endorsed. Another fine follower, even if the healing AI package is quirky.

Bethesda really needs to work on their NPC AI.

I've pretty much set her up in the CK to be a healer as best I can, but like almost ALL NPCs, combat is all she really seems to know how to do.

I use her as a companion quite often and she heals me occasionally, but usually when I don't need it. Times that I'm almost dead she just decides that I'm too far gone lol. I've even had her heal me after I'm dead a couple of times...which is anger-inducing and hilarious at the same time.

So until Bethesda works on the AI's usage of healing spells (other than self healing); modders won't be able to do a whole lot in way of dedicated healers. It's possible that Bethesda did this intentionally to keep the game from being boringly easy...but that's just stupid considering we have an entire command console at our disposal.

I'll be over here scratching my head until further notice.

@Necromanx2 Actually, clerics are light armor specialists most of the time. As for your blocking issue with her, that's slightly different for me. I'm level 16 on my current character, and she has 31 block, which seems to go up a couple of points every now and again.

However, she will not heal. She has not even pulled out a healing spell ONCE. Nor has she used either of those healing staves she comes with. It's quite frustrating that your followers are so inept and clueless to your health -- even if they have healing ability, spells and the magicka to heal you.

You have the AI character presets to thank for the block not leveling as it should. In order to make her a healer; I had to go with a preset class that actually acknowledges it can heal (even though the AI still doesn't use it as frequently as it should).

The only preset class in the CK I've found that actually uses heals is the Monk preset. Due to using that preset; she favors light armor and her block is low.

From my personal experience with the CK thus far; making an honest to goodness Cleric is all but impossible. I'm hoping that Bethesda will address it and add some dedicated healer presets to the CK, but I'm not counting on it.

    Grimraven1,

    Thanks for the work!

I wanted to mention that I am at 34 level and Delphine has yet to gain one point in block (still at the starting 15). One-handed, light armor, and the 3 magic skills go up, but still nothing in block. Clerics to me are mace and shield wielders.

NOTE: Is there a reason that she goes up with light armor instead of heavy? Clerics are heavy armor characters usually (assuming a D& frame of referemce that is).

    Thank you for the answer
When i first dl'ed, i was affraid of that ... as other modders also keep saying that AI make a dedicated healer quite impossible to do.
It's just a annoying :/ Well, i'll be the healer then
