I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but this mod can't seem to work for me. I placed the *.esp file into my Data folder, but nothing. My companion still appears as dog. This is the first mod I have problems with.
Equeon I am recently working on a mod like that it should be out in the next couple of days and will include wolves,sabrecats,elk,bears,young mamoth,horker,spiders,skeevers and more. so in the meanwhile check out some of my other mods like my mystic followers, Werewolf,spriggan etc. Or Conjure Drakes baby dragons
I like the look of this mod, and want to try it soon. I recently started Skyrim over and don't have a dog yet.
For those wanting a quieter but not silent, fox, I searched around the Nexus and found this: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=188 I haven't tested it though.
Hey, if you plan to add a fox companion... do you think you could add some of other animal types as well (like a Chaurus?) There's already standalone sabrecat, dog, and fox companions that work amazingly: but other larger mods like Summon Animal Pets have derpy-AI, non-interactable creatures like horkers, elk, and bears that are less pets than permanent summons. I'd really appreciate it if after your work on a fox, you could work on a Chaurus companion with basic commands like "Stay" "Go to Breezehome" "Follow" etc. Thanks!
@Kloetee - This mod just replaces the default dog companions with foxes. There are some really good texture replacements for animals on the Nexus. I'm not artistically inclined.
@Saiodin - Actually I probably could, but this one is just for replacing the dogs with foxes. I'll probably work on a separate fox companion soon. Thanks for the idea!
@Puncho - I agree, that's part of the reason I left it.
