Love the mod, is there anyway this could be ported to xbox and do you give permission for this to be ported if it could ? If anyone knows a similar armor ( specifically the sabrecat helm) that has already been ported and uploaded, would love any links to it. Thanks in advance to any responds !
Months has passed since last time, but if i remember well you should: 0) Download manually and install the mod as it is for the first time. It is necessary. Keep the .zip file for the next step. 1) Now Extract the zipped mod in a folder of your choise (the desktop for example). At the end of the process these loose files will be the converted copy of your mod. 2) Convert the .esp file (the one situated in your skyrim data folder) from FORM 43 (or lower) to FORM 44 just opening it in CK (creation kit) and re-saving it. You can check the result opening the .esp in SSEdit and looking at the "header" voices. You should clearly see FORM 44 now for your converted .esp. If not, you did something wrong, do it again. If it's FORM 44, just close everything and go to your data forlder, copy your converted .esp and paste it into your custom folder where you unzipped all the loose files and obviously overwrite the old .esp
3) Download NIFOptimizer and put in in the same folder where you extracted the mod in loose files, run it and select the main folder containing all the meshes (.nif files) and be sure to have "subfolders" scanning activated in the NIFOptimizer settings. Run the optimization and when it's done you should have a text file in the same folder with the results (a list of errors or successes). 4) You can now just delete NifOptmizer and the .txt log file and check the folder structure: you must have: "NameOfConvertedMod"folder with inside it: "Data" and inside it "meshes", "textures" and the .esp file (if i remember well). 5) Use 7zip to re-pack your now converted mod this way: right click on the "Data" folder of your converted mod (the one with loose files) and then choose 7-zip -> Add to archive (or something like that). Chose a file name without spaces (uses always _ instead) like "SabreCat_Gear_(Akasha77_SSE)" and when the compression process is done open it to check the internal structure. It should have "Data" and then all the other subfolder. Be sure is correct.
6) Uninstall the old mod, install your new converted mod and once in-game check if models are ok (if 3D meshes are pink and without textures your NifOptimization failed and you did something wrong).
7) Remember to save your converted mod (the .7z file) on some kind backup, like an external drive, cause they will always may be useful. You don't want to reconvert them all the time. Trust me. If a new version of the mod comes out, you need to do the work again, sure but for old mods this is not the case i suppose.
I hope this helps.
EDIT: maybe this mod was .bsa packed. Just use "Bethesda Archive Extractor" to unpack it and then you can follow my "guide".
Hello dear friend. Is there a way to convert this pack to XBOX? My friend DVAted has been requested for it and he's giving permission to a person to convert it to XBOX, if anyone is interested to do it. Best regards!
I have tried many times to convert the mod for my self but I can´t seem to get it, will you be so kind to port the mod to me? Woulde be very happy if you could.! ;D
