i can't understand why ANY kind of mod offering a new skimpy armor get so much endorsments while this kind of new adventures get son few. This it's very well done i enjoyed reading the notes and journal for discover the dungeon. It has a good design and it's well cluttered, really it's a nice adittion to the game.
I thoroughly enjoyed playing this crypt. It's huge! I did not expect it to be that large. Nothing out of the ordinary here, just a note to a tomb about a guy running from some people hunting him. The quest caused no problems for me and I would definitely play it again. Also, the storyline is interesting and I would've like to have seen this carried out with the three other dungeons. Would've been fun to play through. Easily endorsed.
I just ran through this using High Level Enemies mod as well. Draugr Immortal hell in this place. I had a good time with it. The only problem I found was the draugr at the dawnstar inn didn't react to me at all when I approached. I had to hit them to get them to engage. Endorsed.
I'm not sure if it works with 1.8. I'm inside the dungeon, past the first daugr burial area and in the parallel tunnels, with no way to get further. I've benn all over this area and cannot find a trigger to open the passage to the next area. Looks good so far though!
If you like crawling through the vanilla Draugr filled crypts, then you'll definitely enjoy The Ragmar Conspiracy. The tomb was properly done with all the attention to detail you'd expect from a Bethesda made dungeon. Unlike a Bethesda dungeon though, this one isn't linear and doesn't have that immersion breaking convenient-shortcut-to-the-front-door.
This mod doesn't try anything radically new, but adds a new location to explore that any experienced tomb raider will feel comfortable with right away. Instead of just adding a map marker, the mod starts when you find a note in the Bannered Mare in Whiterun. It tells you the location of the next clue which leads you to the first tomb. This is a simple and realistic way to start the quest. I also have to applaud this plot device as it will allow the author to release new chapters as they are completed.
Anyway, this is amazing for a first mod. Rather than focusing on flashy stuff and ending up with a buggy mess, dennis4343 made sure he got all the basics right, and when you think about it, the best mods aren't the ones with the most flashes, bangs and scripts, but the ones that blend in seamlessly with the game world.
Endorsed!
A note for the lazy: You actually have to READ stuff to find the dungeon. *gasp* No GPS map markers here.
