So far this mod seems great all but for a few problems
if i cast transmorgrify on my dog and the wait - ctd stop time and the other one that stops time and "speeds up blows" both get me stuck inside slow time (or stopped time) and i have to revert to an old save. oh and the speeds up blows thing dosn't seem to work at all.
other than those glitches i'm really enjoying your mod, hope u might resolve these issues in the future. looking forward to a more stable version, but even with the glitches still well worth the download, thanks.
someone should make a Sticky bomb spell, sticks to the wall or object as if magelight, but explodes in the desired magic damage type in a small radius after a brief period of activation... i would do it myself but i have no experience in creation tools... i think after the creation kit comes out it would probably be possible
@Troy - as stated, i don't do this because your skill already affects the *cost*. Also, it would be a HUGE pain in the butt. Basically, I'd have to fake a perk (add it to, say, Novice Destruction) with a condition for every X levels (probably five) that adds that % to your damage - so it would be like adding 20 perks or so. I'll get to it Or something like it
I skimmed past your mod earlier because I accidently misunderstood what you meant by "I've made scaled versions (a version for each skill level) of Novice, Apprentice, and Adept spells so far." I thought you made each spell have a Novice, Apprentice, and Adept version.. and not an expert or master version. But you actually meant that each Novice, Apprentive, and Adept spell has a version of all difficulties.
I like your mod a lot better.
Maybe this isn't the place to ask, but if you could, perhaps you could simply make the destruction skill increase your spellpower in the same curve? Just like one-handed skill increases physical damage, destruction skill should increase magical damage. Of course, higher level spells would have to be set down a bit to scale properly with lower level spells. This would make your current mod pointless, but maybe it would be an improvement.
So I installed this and now my game crashes to desktop whenever I try to load interior cells- I uninstalled and deleted the mod, but its still happening. Anyone know if I can do a rollback or somehow undo whatever changes were made?
Also- I've revalidated the files and went back to a clean save (still happens) so I figure it must be related to some kind of alteration made by the mod- shame as I really wanted to try it =/
On that note - anyone who wants to give me detailed feedback regarding the strength and magicka-cost of the scaled versions of these spells, it would warrant a big thank you in any future readme
uihera - you also have to BUY them, like normal. Go to Farengar or anyone who sells all schools.
EVERYONE: Sorry that I haven't been around - I'm working on a complete overhaul. This one is FULLY customizable (want the armor cap percentage to be 87.5?). It will include stuff like a fixed-up version of this.
